WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Agatha All Along new ep every Wednesday

It's being reported that it is still in the works within Sony along a Sin6 film.

If LK is 2/2 on bold predictions, then what? Time will tell... :lol
Listen anybody can take wild shots in the dark with a shot gun and partially hit if they say enough bull ****. Cuz they'll ignore all the other stuff they said and just focus on one part of what they said.

It's easier to do when most ppl forget exactly what the person was arguing for.

Like other ppl mocking him, I could pull up a bunch of Marvel promotional art and say so and so will be in the MCU doesn't mean a damn thing.

So they're going to film Black Panther on schedule and just release it later?

Is that what they're going to do? Sounds like a recipe for continuity errors

Although I don't like it and seems like it doesn't good I'm hoping Feige isn't just gonna give BP the shaft after that spectacle during the phase 2 movie announcements.

Regardless I still have confidence the BP movie will be great.
I agree with everything they said. I am not too ecstatic about this deal at all. People will join me when Venom joins (or cant join?) the MCU after a terrible Sony made Venom movie.

At least we'll have Doc Oc done right since he'll likely be in the solo movies
Doc Ock was done right with Alfred Molina in SM2.

Other than that he isn't all that great of a Spider-Man villain compared to the others.

How so?

It's a Black Panther movie. It'll be all about him.

It won't be hard to do anything continuity wise that won't cause errors before the solo movie.

You still hatin? You know good and well what I was proclaiming was more than a stab at the dark. I could pull up posts of you swearing me down that there was no way spiderman would be in the MCU this soon because of all the legalities and what not and how Marvel wouldn't even try to pursue because they have merch rights. I also swore to you that the 75th anniversary pic was special because it hinted at what was happening because Spiderman was front and center and a pic that was boldly displaying characters Marvel was focusing on in the MCU.... But all my posts were "cockamamie" or something like that, right? :lol

"TOLD YOU SO"

8 month difference really that bad?

they been hinting he was going to play a big role in captain america future avengers that will def be shrunk.
I mean BP and Spidey are so different that I'm not sure if that's necessarily true with what they'd have planned to do with BP especially compared to a Spidey that will be an inexperienced teenager unless they're gonna replace all of that BP stuff for Spidey jokes.

Just stating facts about the bull **** you been on and continue to be on and are now lying about to post these empty I told you so's. No surprise you'll continue to be mocked.

Think reasonably.

Maybe not continuity error per se, but like if it's released out of order of filming ..

There could potentially be a situation where you would clearly have to reference to a previous event that happened in a previous movie but it doesn't, because when BP was filmed that particular event wasn't planned for yet

It probably wouldn't take away from the movie for most people but people paying more attention but be confused ej. Like why didn't you reference ___ or it's like ____ never happened

Most likely what will probably happen is Marvel will just shoot extra scenes for BP later on, worst case scenario

Eh, nothing has been filmed yet though.

I can't see Marvel making a massive **** up like that in their continuity timeline.

Doubt it. I think they are gonna jam as many other avengers in it as possible to make people wanna see it. I fully expect to see BW,Fury,Cap, in there most def. Fury prob gonna take BP outta Wakanda to whatever base of Ops Fury/Cap workin out of now. Tony will probably make an appearance to

I definitely don't expect this.

:lol @ a BP movie not being all about him though.

At least not in huge roles. Cameos maybe. I'm not saying guest appearances won't happen

It'd make no sense to have a BP movie be about everybody else. It's his movie, it'll be about him.

Marvel studios isn't so scared that they're willing to make sure any movie sells no matter what especially after GotG.

If that were the case they would've managed to fit Iron Man in GotG.

I mean IM, Cap, and Thor get their first movies to be about them and yet they're gonna shaft BP with a ensemble movie. I mean I guess you're somehow gonna expect the same for Cap Marvel, Dr. Strange and Inhumans?

Ya'll goin a lil too crazy about the BP rescheduling. He's still in the Cap 3 film, and is going to be an Avenger pretty soon, so his importance in the films will be felt. He isn't gonna get Hawkeyed. You don't acquire Spiderman and shelve him for years. I could understand if he was pushed back YEARS, but he's not. It only got pushed back 8 months. Just chill, dude will be fine.

Did yall know Paul Rudd is listed as a screenwriter on Ant-Man? Props.

My whole thing is I don't like Marvel pretending the Spidey solo film that while they have some creative control and say so is apart of the phases as if it's a movie they're producing and solely own.

They should've told Sony to find a movie slot if they can instead of literally shifting the release dates for every movie after GotG 2 :{

It'd be totally different if they were spending money and making money directly from it and they also had direct say so in those spin off movies but it's not like that at all. It's basically a deal for their mutual benefit where Sony is clearly desperate for that bump. I would've told Sony either to find a time in the summer or drop the Spidey reboot on xmas.

What I'm more so wondering is how is Civil War going to be just one film. How do you fit that much depth and introduction of new characters who will require a good bit of screen time to one film....

Hmm.....

it will be 3 hours

How are they acting as if they solely own it?

As far as the mutual benefit thing, you gotta start somewhere. It's probably the best they could've done at this point. As far as the spinoffs go, I really don't care. I see it like how comics have separate titles for one character. I may not like Spectacular Spiderman, but Amazing Spiderman is great. That's just me.

They pushed back the movies they do own solely for a movie they don't just because Spidey will be apart of the MCU. That they did that is almost like they changed their minds and decided to make a Moon Knight movie and push the other movies back for that. Thing is they don't own Spidey outright so for that reason alone I wouldn't have whenever Sony wants to release a Spidey movie change the roll out for movies they set things up for.

Like I said I'd have just told Sony find your own time to release the Spidey solo since we've already laid out our plan for phase 3.

It's likely that it's also in Marvel's interest to have a Spidey movie earlier than later, for whatever grand scheme that they have.

The rescheduling can't be simply to satisfy Sony.

Maybe it's position in the lineup is important. We don't know if it's a self contained story or if he'll be affected by Cap 3. Folks thought it was weird to have Ant-Man 2 to end Phase II until we see how it fits within the larger narrative.
