WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Agatha All Along new ep every Wednesday

I'd say because he doesn't have that much experience with these type of films. I have no doubt that this film will look better because I'm sure he picked up on some things. But if Zack Snyder were to direct the first one, would've looked great.

I loved the way the first Avengers was portrayed. There was a lot of awkward moments and it seems as though there was a good bit of improv too but it was perfect because you were bringing all these heroes/quasi freaks of nature together to save the world. The sequel will show them more confident and working more as a unit.

I'm terms of Hulk I've been reading about how in this film they'll be dealing more with Banner's complex of having multiple personalities. How hulk is afraid of becoming banner and vice versa. I'm guessing banner OD's anytime he transforms as kind've an outlet for his frustrations and it gets him into a lot of trouble. Either Ultron gets into his head and convinces him he's better off on his own or the other avengers are in constant fear of how unpredictable he becomes when he transforms and have some precautionary methods to deal with him when he "hulks out" too hard (Hulkbuster armor?)

...so many possibilities :x

hulk vs thor was a let down... also wasn't there suppose to be a triple threat between cap, im, and thor?

Thor & Hulk battle was fine I thought, the film isn't Thor vs Hulk, it's Avengers and they just gave us a taste of what it'll be like for someone who could actually go toe to toe with the Hulk.

There really wasn't a triple threat between IM, Thor & Cap, it was just a brief Thor vs IM bout and Cap just showed up to break it up.

Just like all the other solo films, the Avengers was practically an origin film too. Now that the intros to each other re out of the way, they can dive deeper into the stories.

If Snyder directed Avengers it would definitely look great, amazing even but that would be the only good thing you could say about it cuz he routinely teams up with trash writers or has no good stories to tell himself.

Watching the Avengers that first time in the theaters was magical. I wouldn't have anybody else directing this franchise but Whedon.

I kinda wish Marvel would back out of ant man. Everything I'm hearing about the production process is a mess. Their director right now is like they're fourth choice director or something like that.

It's not the fourth director, it's just the second. The other directors said no to the project, they weren't on it and then left so technically they were never the director.

Honestly, 10 years ago I'd be making fun of an Antman film too and would think his power will be ridiculous on the big screen in a bad way but these days, they can pull it off and that test screen from a few a years back looked pretty good.

In a recent interview with Screenrant, James Gunn discussed the possiblity of him directing a Thunderbolts film for Marvel. "Thunderbolts?" Gunn said. "I will tell you, one time I was saying to Kevin [Feige], we were sitting on set together on one of the days he visited and I said, ‘You know, I really want to make Thunderbolts,' and he said, 'James, if Guardians does well you'll be able to do whatever you want.' So we'll see what happens."

Im trying to get that concept art at the Marvel booth at SDCC today or tomorrow hehe

so dope

I'm here for a Thunderbolts... question is which line up are they gonna use?

I'm saving my judgment on Ant-man for when the movie drops cause we can all be talking trash then the movie be the best thing. I mean it can happen...

but it can still turn out to be TRAAAAAAAAAAAAASH

There should be a poll created to see if the majority of people want the thread to exist. I count for 10 votes alone.

This thread kind of works like the MCU thread as well though: http://niketalk.com/t/248810/news-o...-ts-natural-phenomenon-paranormal-based-films

Just mixed in with others and more people are subscribed to that thread. I think that is also just a good thread to check out free of spoilers. I think that will be the biggest problem with some posters, other take a week or two before seeing a film and it'll be easier to stay away from one specific movie thread than a thread compiled of all the MCU news.

Spoilers are unavoidable. People just need to be smart about it. But it was just a suggestion. It doesn't have to be created.
