There have been a lot of big changes at Disney HQ this evening because the studio has updated its release schedule in some significant ways. For starters, Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It-Ralph 2 will now be titled simply Ralph Breaks The Internet and it's still set to be released on November 21st. Mary Poppins Returns, meanwhile, has moved from December 25th to 19th.
It's also been confirmed that Jungle Cruise will reach theaters on October 11th, 2019. It was previously billed as an Untitled Disney Live-Action Movie and was dated for October 4th. Another untitled live-action release has been dropped from the schedule on November 8th, while Maleficent 2 is set to hit the big screen on May 29th, 2020. There's bad news for Indiana Jones fans, though, because the fifth instalment has now been moved nearly an entire year from July 10th, 2020 to July 9th, 2021.
Another untitled live-action Disney movie is being moved from that latter release date and will now debut on July 30th instead. A second - set for release on February 12th, 2021 - has been dropped altogether from the schedule but the good news if that a mystery Marvel movie originally set to debut on July 30th, 2021, has taken its spot. Speculation is already running rampant that's Black Panther 2.
