In fact, the only reason that Thanos is defeated in the comics is that his subconscious knows he is unworthy of such power, and he ends up self-sabotaging his own plan to forever reign supreme.

It’s going to be a toss up for BP and IW. US numbers. After 11 days (including tomorrow) looks like IW will have 491 vs 441 lead. However, have to wait and see how much Dead pool and HAN solo plays into this. BP will be at 693 million after tomorrow. Should end up doing 700 million (depends how long they keep it in theaters). Only 2 other movies mad 700 million US Avatar and Star Wars.

and for that matter why didnt he kill everyone on titan not named tony stark before going to wakanda?

He stated early on that he didnt enjoy having to do what he had to do. And I'm sure he looked at Drax and Mantis as not being worth it

The same reason he didn't kill any of the Avengers when he casually strolled to get the mind stone.

I feel like after Thanos killed Heimdall and Loki (and all the dwarves on Nivadelir and the Nova corps on Xandar) him taking off his gear and armor was him transitioning in to his endgame mode. Everything was in reach and he didn't need to kill anyone if he didnt have to. Why bother when you're gonna snap half of life out of existence by the end?

Which is why from that point on the only person he killed was Gamora (Vision is not a person).

But none of those questions have to do with the reality stone having a limit on distance. Thanos simply temporarily incapacitated any obstacles to get Gamora who knew where the soul stone was.

like why leave obstacles in ur way that could come back to bite you unless you really want to be stopped in all actuality

also it kinda seems like the other stones are irrelevant with the reality stone

like space, time, power, what cant the reality stone do that they already do?

I usually don't care about this but ppl actually think this isn't a great movie and won't do #s

IW has enough time with this week and up to next week before the 18th to increase #s.

Unfortunately, I gotta think BP gets phased out of theaters by the time Deadpool is out and definitely when Solo is out.

Thanos beats himself subconsciously any time he gets ultimate power. Infinity Gauntlet was a great example cuz he didn't just succeed in his goal he also beat all of Marvel cosmic entities on top of the heroes.

it looked like he had on athleisure wear before banner crashed in

then strange got the cape and his outfit changed

or can he make his mystic arts outfit look like anything?

The Cloak of Levitation is part of his attire although it sort of has a mind of it's own. It chose him and as a result protects him from danger (and allows him to fly/levitate). His powers exceed the Cloak but the Cloak is part of his arsenal like the Time Stone was. I don't know if you've seen the Doctor Strange movie but it is on Netflix currently.

I mean if we follow that train of thought through why leave anyone alive? Whose to say some kid who lost his entire fam due to Thanos' actions doesn't grow up to best him and take the gauntlet?

So with the latest update just morning. Looks like IW made 112 million this weekend -57% drop. Second best weekend ever ahead of BP 111 million after its -44% drop. Here’s the 10 day totals. IW 450 million and BP 403 million. So from the opening weekend until now BP gain 9 million. It was down 56 million after opening weekend. Now it’s 47 million.
