WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Agatha All Along new ep every Wednesday

So I am guessing the mutants in the Runaways will be Inhumans or something? Them not being humans was an important part of the Runaways.

Runaways better be Netflix and not ABC.

Them being mutants wasn't that important though.

Just some kids with powers. Main important thing is that their parents are all super villains.

So Marvel films and shows can't use the word mutants even if they aren't characters connected to the xmen?

To make it simple, the word mutants is owned by Fox

*edit

Oh you beat me to it

They can still say stuff like mutation and mutated though but not as a label.

Not a big deal given they're not even introducing any mutants in the MCU. Already using terms like "miracles" and about to launch the Inhumans. Now that I think about it they might tweak some of the origins for one of the netflix shows. There's only so many ppl that can be experimented on or get dosed in toxic waste to get super powers.

Also Molly/Bruiser/Princess Powerful, or whatever she goes by these days does have a little to do with the X-Men. She had a run in with Wolverine and she was one of the 200 mutants who kept her powers after House of M.

Marvel's lawyers should've found a way to stop the xmen movies from using words like "a", "the", "of", "I", "they", "we", "us".

That would be great.

Hopefully Sony reaches out to Whedon to direct one of their female Spider-Man spinoff movies so he can reply in e-mail no I'm directing the Captain Marvel movie so we can see it confirmed.

I guess I'm gonna torture myself and burn through season 1 of Agents of Shield to get my fix.

Does Daredevil have a date?

Not that I know of. When you get halfway thru the season, it picks up. The first half is them worldbuilding and stalling for that Universe shattering episode

Yeah I know, I was watching since day 1. I personally thought it got better at episode 7, but Cap 2 changed everything for sure. I saw what they were trying to do but it just wasn't executed well enough.

Just started watching AoS and its ok, not sure why dudes were saying it's terrible. Definitely the biggest budget of all the tv comic book shows. Cute women.

My biggest complaint about agents of shield was that for a while, it didn't feel like a world set in the marvel cinematic universe.

Now it does.

Also, it was really slow going at first.

Then that's the viewer's problem putting their own expectations on it. If you start to Watch it for just the team and their exploits it's a good show. I'm surprised people that watch with those expectations enjoy any show based on already existing source material or universe.

Just now getting back to this thread.. And saw some of you answered my question about Sony properties..

Well they should be extremely solid with spidey and Bond as your main 2, you make sure you have those two properties going once every 3 years in separate years, so it ends up working out that you should only end up with a year without 1 of those films going

Then as was mentioned you look at the playstation games and look at what games you could creative interesting movies with.. Tomb raider comes to mind

And go after quality directors and producers.. Do what marvel and to an extent DC has done, take your own properties and films seriously so other people can too

On spidey, I think hiring Marc Webb was their mistake.. They ending up with 500 days of Gwen..

The ideas of everything else I liked.. Using characters that weren't used in the original trilogy (but don't completely ignore them).. Having villains being connected to oscorp.. Show the more nerdy side of Peter and him using his genius to fuel is character.. Using peter's personality

Start with low end guys and build towards the bigger guys.. Go with a batman begins type route.. Or a 'year one' type deal.. Have him screw up the first one.. But you have the Osborns and kingpin sitting behind the scenes in the first one, so you can build to those guys for the 3rd and 4th films

When you try something ambitious as putting a tv show in the same universe as the movies, higher expectations just goes with the territory. You can't blame the consumer. That just goes for any ambitious move by a tv show, movie, or a company, like ever. When you advertise something ambitious, people will expect you to follow through.

I'm not sure what yall expected in the first few eps of the first season when the show was revolving around Coulson and he was dead to the Avengers. It's SHIELD so they weren't going to add in a bunch of super powered ppl and just make it any other superhero show. They created their own little mystery with Coulson's death and went from there.

They weren't the best but they did what it had to find it's own voice within the MCU. Plus they had to accomplish all this in 20+ eps or w/e.

The biggest criticisms to me were the so so acting and annoying new characters. I still wouldn't mind that English scientist dude dying. Ward is still bland as **** to me. Looks to me ppl overlook Skye's failings for her looks. A show like this should've had way more badass characters word to Nick Fury & the Agents of SHIELD comics but hey I guess their budget wasn't that big.

Hot Toys are already putting out the MK 43 for Pre Order starting next week. And the merchandising officially begins....
