WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Agatha All Along new ep every Wednesday

Na I always like my seats in the middle :frown:

It's just a good thing I thought to buy the tickets today. Usually I wait 2-3 weeks before a movie to buy tickets. If I had done that I would've been out of luck.

The Thursday advance screenings are usually good. Especially if you catch the later showing. That's probably when I'm going to see it for the first viewing. Then the second for whenever most of my friends can plan for.

I'm going to look for a theater with reserved seating. I'm not doing the waiting in line thing.

Just one showing on opening night and another on the weekend lol.

Watching IW like 5 times over the weekend. Dgaf.

I don’t care if it gets 20% on RT. a movie of this magnitude has to have some good stuff

yah its BWs hand, the other side is Hulks, can't tell who the other two hands are, the reddish one might be IMs and the one with the pointy claws probably BP

don't think it really means anything to the film though, the cake makers probably just went with whats recognizable?

Black Panther Box Office Opening May Top Spider-Man: Homecoming

Box Office Pro updated their projections for Black Panther today and now predict it to open to $120 million domestically. This marks a $30 million increase from their initial $90M estimates. The boost comes one month before the movie debuts, and a few weeks before actual box office tracking is made available. It also follows tickets going on sale, and the high interest Black Panther quickly generated.

If Black Panther does open to $120 million next month, it will be the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s best franchise launch ever. That crown currently belongs to Spider-Man: Homecoming‘s $117M opening last year, so this would be a narrow win. That said, the general public is well-aware of Spider-Man, making his big launch less of a surprise. Black Panther on the other hand isn’t that well-known just yet, but a launch of this size would help close the gap.

Not only is Black Panther projected to do well in its opening weekend, but the overall domestic haul is great too. Box Office Pro estimates a $335M total will come Black Panther‘s way based on an opening of this size. Such a total would be good for the sixth best domestic total in MCU history. Black Pantherwill need strong legs to perform this well domestically, and it has a good shot to do so if the film is as great as many expect. There are hardly any major releases coming in the few weeks that follow its launch. There will be some smaller films that will play as competition, but nothing should come close to really challenging Black Panther in the first couple weeks.

That said, these projections are likely based on the positive buzz the movie continues to receive. If the critical reaction isn’t glowing, Black Panther could lose some steam at the box office and with tracking. Those reactions shouldn’t be that much further away now. On the flip side, if reactions are even better than anticipated, these projections could go even higher – making it more difficult for anyone (even Lupita Nyong’o) to get tickets.

I underestimated the public's excitement for Black Panther. I should've bought tickets the moment they were available.

I got seats to the dolby cinema showing the day it comes out, but the seats aren't great  All the way in the front smh

I am not making the same mistake for Infinity War. I could be in the middle of getting some and I'd stop what I'm doing to buy the tickets

I tried warning everyone & giving the heads up, it seemed I was 100% spot on, but even I didn’t expect it to do the numbers it is. I was simply referring as to when the tickets would go on sale.
