WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Agatha All Along new ep every Wednesday

watching DS tonight and it really feels like it's been forever since I've seen a CBM

people saying the bubble was about to burst because of all multiple CBMs coming out every year and here I am wanting more for what feels like a year now :lol

is it just me?
Nah, feel the same way.

Haven't seen a cbm since May? Or whenever CW came out. Been a drought for me.

I keep saying it but Marvel should've had a 3rd movie this year, release it in July or August. Could've held me over. Only Luke Cage sort of did.

May try and watch this movie Saturday morning.

Got the okay from the wife lol.

About to see Doc Strange in about 4 more hours and I'm just "meh" right now. I was never a fan of his, nor did I bother learning about him like other superheroes. With that said, I know I'll be blown away by what I'm about to see tonight.

You guys watching in 3-D?
This seems to be they type of movie that would be encouraged to watch that way.
Trying to buy my tickets for Saturday I just don't want to watch the wrong version.

I'll be watching in 3D the footage I saw at the IMAX preview was in 3D and sold me on it, for this movie at least

Went ahead and went with the IMAX 3D experience.
Going Saturday, working late tomorrow and working Saturday.

Great movie.

Visuals were amazing.

The origin was done great and flowed well.

Only one mention of the marvel universe in the movie, which I liked how this felt like a true stand alone movie.

I enjoyed the movie more than I thought I would've!

As far as origin movies go its better than any marvel origin movie except Iron Man, I'd say.

It was a cringe worthy beginning because I think they were going for a hip, swaggy, wise cracking vibe with Strange and Cumberbatch can't quite pull it off like RDJ could.

After the crash it was smooth sailing though.

The fighting was better than I thought it'd be. I wasn't so sure how they were going to depict the fighting. I was glad to see hand to hand fighting.

The climax kinda brought Deja vu to the climax of the FF movies and the GL movie. Lol.

I think if dude was 15 years younger the dude who plays House would've been perfect for Dr Strange for what they were going for. They could've gone full douchebag with Dr Strange instead of halfway like they did.

By the way, Dr Strange is really powerful. Does he even need the other Avengers against Thanos :lol

And Captain Marvel is supposed to be more powerful, according to Feige?

He def needs all the help he can get facing Thanos :lol

Really enjoyed it. One of the better origin movies. I'm excited to see Strange in this universe and what he brings to the table.

7/8

Is this worth Imax or not? I hate 3d so thats out the question but regular tickets is 6 bucks but the IMAX near me is like 18 bucks a ticket :x

If there was a marvel movie to watch in 3d, it'd be this one. I wonder what it would've been like to watch this high lol

The vibe in this thread is really strange to me right now

Just kinda crickets.

Pun intended.

*bah ding

Movie was cool. Probably be the first Marvel movie I won't be seeing twice in theaters though.

Strange is powerful af. Movie made me feel like he could probably hold his own against Thanos one on one.
