There was a body to recover?

SW ripped his heart out when he was in a train and that crashed into the earth along with everything else
The vibranium suit would've (should've) survived the explosion regardless
the vibranium survived but if the nuts and bolts connecting the vibrainum plates together were not made of vibrainum then it could be in a thousand different pieces

dudes bout to flock to the wreck site like the gold rush

Robert Downey Jr. to Appear in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’

Robert Downey Jr. will appear in Marvel and Sony’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming” as Tony Stark.

Following the great chemistry Downey and “Spider-Man” star Tom Holland had in “Captain America: Civil War”, Sony and Marvel knew they had to work hard to get these two back together for the “Spider-Man” reboot. Sources say the size of the role is unknown at this time.

Sony and Marvel had no comment.

Jon Watts is directing “Homecoming” from a script by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. Kevin Feige and former Sony exec Amy Pascal are producing the movie, which focuses on a teenage Peter Parker’s high school days.

Plot details are still being heavily guarded.

Holland’s Spider-Man will first make an appearance in the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War” before his standalone pic. Production on “Homecoming” is expected to start this summer.

The pic opens on July 7, 2017 with Tony Revolori and Laura Harrier also on board. Michael Keaton had been tapped as the villains but sources now say his deal may not work and the search may be on yet again for a new antagonist.

Downey is repped by CAA and “Captain America: Civil War” opens on May 7.

RDJ getting them checks! I wonder what he was thinking when they first offered him Tony back in the day. I bet he didn't think it would do all this for him

Wow. Sony probably happy to have Marvel backing them. Homecoming about to smash ASM/ASM2 off hype alone

probably depends what his relationship was with favreau.. but I saw some place tom cruise was considered for the part

favreau and vince Vaughn seem close

Nah I don't want IM in the Spiderman movie. Nice had enough of him. Cap on the other hand... Peter needs a nice role model in his life so why not

Robert Downey Jr. Joins 'Spider-Man: Homecoming'

Marvel's Shell-head is looking to join Sony's Web-head.
It looks like the team-up of Spider-Man and Iron Man seen in Captain America: Civil War won’t be the duo’s last.

Robert Downey Jr., who plays the red and gold-armored Marvel character, has closed a deal to join the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Marvel and Sony’s reboot of the web-crawling superhero, sources tell THR.

The rumor back when Spidey came to the MCU was that both Cap and IM were gonna appear in the movie anyway. This is not a surprise.

Yeah, let's see how Civil War plays out.

We all know Stark/Iron Man isn't going anywhere anytime soon. So, the announcement of him in the film wasn't truly a surprised.

Still amazed how much money RDJ is getting for supporting roles.

May 6th needs to hurry up!

In terms of intelligence alone Peter Parker has more in common with Tony Stark than Steve Rogers. Both of them are going to be working on and designing new tech together, while Cap sits in a corner hoping to understand a word every now and again :lol Just need to throw Hank Pym in and you'll have a trio of genuises. And if Banner gets back from Ragnarok in time :eek
