Yeah it's not that big of a deal if I don't end up wearing them, thought it would be different, wedding is in June so I'll figure it out,
again i'd say it depends on what she is like, your parents, etc. just ask her. my opinion is that if you have to ask, just wear some dress shoes. the jordans will live to see another day. the suit/sneakers thing has gotten a bit played though i do it on occasion.
We're all gonna be getting juiced anyway
Not all of my boys still had their Js and I wasn't springing for them so I just got them all Calypso roshes and thats what we rocked.
Wife got her girls some sneakers too but they switched at the reception.
Ehh, I paid for that **** so I be damned if I was gonna let anyone tell me I couldn't be comfortable. Surprisingly, her and her mom were on board so I didn't have to puff my chest much.
Everyone loved it and everyone was comfy at the reception.
We're all gonna be getting juiced anyway. we shall see
I was originally not going to, married 12/27, my kids (2 and 5) definitely wanted to wear their DS concords, and they love to match me. My wife kept saying wear them, but I still kept thinking that it was kind of cheesy. On the day of the wedding I took my Tuxedo lows as a just in case. I ended up wearing them because 1. it would make my kids happy, and 2. I really dont care what the people at my wedding thought, and minister even made a comment, "those are your shoes? tenner-shoes?". It's your day. Do and wear what you want, and if people are that upset with it they're welcome to leave. At least that was my take on it. In fact, my wife wore the Roshe ID's I bought for the ceremony as well, and that's what I switched to after it. Needless to say no one mentioned it after the minister, the world didnt stop, and I'd be willing to bet 75+% didnt even notice. It's your day period.
Sorry for the crappy pic

Exactly.
I feel bad for you. I knew I'd wear Jordans on my wedding day before I even met my wife I married. If you're going through a "phase" of being a sneaker head than you aren't really a sneaker head, you're a hype beast and are just collecting shoes to be trendy. If you want to be a goose and fly with the flock and wear a plain black tux with a white shirt and black shoes and be hum drum and uneventful, go for it, there's plenty of followers out there for you to mimic.
yah I'm probably gonna go tapered.
If you're on the fence...go buy suits or rent tapered, slim tux's so the shoe doesn't look funny over the usual penguin opening that most rentals have.
those aren't Colombia's man. silver anniversary 11
Dude's suit is on point with the Columbia's...
