What do you want to do with it?

Pixel has call screening. Samsung has good lock. Each has pros and cons

nothing special just a second phone, probably use it for normal phone functions, email, social media, youtube etc. won't be used as much as my iphone

For those of you who have the foldable 6, Is it worth upgrading to the 7?

For me it's a yes.

I got it for like $740ish + tax after trade-in

If it was for $1000+ after trade-in like how it was on day 1 pre-order, I wouldn't have done it

The Fold 6 is good but... the upgrades/changes made in the Fold 7 with the bigger screens while making it thinner/lighter it feels like the Fold I've been waiting Samsung to make for the past couple years. Like it really feels a lot more like a normal phone now while closed and when opened the bigger screen feels a lot closer to a tablet experience.

good to see that everyone is enjoying their new joints. i finally got some hands on time with the new fold yesterday. In the approaching months, i thought for sure that i would be an owner… but life had other plans.

I was a happy fold 4 owner since september 2022. few hiccups along the way, but still enjoyed being an early adopter… then samsung dropped an update that made it almost identical to ios and i got annoyed. if you’re a regular in this thread, you know my credentials.

then my job released a phenomenal perk that was ios only, and that was the last straw.

i’ve admired the apple build quality and refresh rate for years…. and in May, i took my talents to cupertino.

my ecosystem is basically complete, (iphone, ipad, magic keyboard, pencil, watch, airpods, airpod max) and i understand the hype: it’s buttery smooth and the transitions are seamless…. but i still think the green/blue bubble nonsense is greatly overblown.

How did you pull that price off?

How did you pull that price off?

They discounted it further the following week after the first week reservations opened and then they gave me another discount working in the govt. Then I had some Samsung Reward points that was worth like $11

$2119.99-$1355=764.99 - $11.XX Samsung points
Came down to like $753 something
