ok i need some help
i have a samsung vibrant that is unlocked. can it be used on my sprint network? i tried inputing my sim but it says no network
what settings do i need to change?

Nope....Not sprint bruh...only GSM networks.

No point in unlocking those phones inside of the US because the big lines all have the same phone.

ROOTED, yes......unlocked, nope.   Unlocking just means you can use it on other networks.

Take off apps  that you may not want......change from touch  wiz to stock froyo (Or possibly a sense rom, i dont know how that would  work on a samsung phone, since sense is HTC)
You can also use wifi tether instead of USB tether (thats if it doesnt already include that feature) 

Apply themes.....overclock, underclock your processor. (make it faster or slower than stock).

Worked for me on Sprint 3G, I was watchin Redzone while I went to grab something to eat with my ppls. Sometimes it gives you an error while opening, just close it out and go right back in it should work.

go into mange applications in the settings and clear the apps data and cache and it should start up. I was getting force closes earlier in the week when I was just $$+!%% with it to make sure it was gonna still be working come today. And I just cleared the app data and it let me in. You just gotta set up the app again. Not that it takes long you just select ur team and say no to alerts and you good to go.
