build quality? not really.and build quality, IMO. The 15 Pro looks / feels great in hand
It still is as far as when I last had an Android(S21).that would have been true in the earlier years of Android.
Got dirt and oil on my galaxy S20 yesterday while working on a friend's car. Decided to had wash with soap and water it but did not submerge it. Just rinsed it off with tap water. The phone works but now the screen is black. Put it in rice for 12 hours and it didn't do anything. WTF

Did that with 90% alc when I got home. Gonna give it about 24 hours
Hope it works cuz I got some files and pics I didn’t back up
Yeah dropped my phone in the tub few years back and the same thing happened. Was probably the soap.Got dirt and oil on my galaxy S20 yesterday while working on a friend's car. it could be a combination of suds and water that hasn't evaporated internally. water in a tight space doesn't evaporate that easily and could also corrode some internal parts. battery terminal being wet also affects the phone.Yeah dropped my phone in the tub few years back and the same thing happened. How so? Was using google maps to commute today and it’s the same experience on android.for some reason Google Maps isnt the same on the iphone/android platform...
i find maps harder to use and more glitchy on my samsung as opposed to my work phone (iphone)...
i thought i may need an update but the app says it was last updated on 4/21
text/color/graphics are different...theres also alot more stuff on the screen w the android that doesnt seem helpful...but most of all i feel like the android version can be kinda glitchy...the blue line wouldnt show up on my route this morning...How so? Waze is worse on iOS. We have speed cameras here. I force closed the app and it didn’t give me an audible warning when I reopened it. Android gave me audibles even after I force closed it
You on a carrier phone or unlocked?text/color/graphics are different...theres also alot more stuff on the screen w the android that doesnt seem helpful...but most of all i feel like the android version can be kinda glitchy...the blue line wouldnt show up on my route this morning...
im going to play around w the maps settings and see if i can change it around...but just using the application without messing around it definately is easier to use/view on the iphone
Ok guys. I'm coming back to android after 2 years on this crappy iphone. What's hot in the streets when it comes to build quality and camera? My last droid was a pixel 2 and before that note 6 edge. I also want water resistance so I can submerge my phone like I did my note and pixel. Last year I was in Mexico and had this dope video idea, submerged my iphone 13 in water and it shut off And thats when I realized crappy iphone isnt water resistant
