LG G4 or the new moto x? probably going the swappa route for the g4 so gonna be around $360-380 range for one.
Depends what you like. If you want stock Android, loud front facing speakers, fast charging, and a bigger screen go with the Moto X Pure. If you want a better camera, removable battery, and SD card slot, go with the G4.
i want all of that tbh

PS the Moto has an SD slot

Moto 360 will be copped as soon as I can grab under $100.

I'm somewhat of a watch collector so this will just into my collection.

Oh yeah, forgot about that.

Personally I'd go with the Moto X Pure but the G4 is a great phone. If price is a factor definitely go G4 since you can cop it for cheap used.

Curiosity: do you guys buy phones outright or go through carrier?
When I was with Verizon the only logical choice was through carrier.

Now that I'm back on T-Mobile I'll be copping Nexus/Moto X/OnePlus/Zen etc phones every year now. I refuse to pay $700 for a phone at this point

Same here, would love a cognac leather strap with it too.

And I get all my phones outright. Haven't gotten a carrier phone in years

It'd only make sense for people on T-mobile/prepaid plan or people who've lost/broken their phones to buy a phone outright. Contact folks would be stupid not to take advantage of subsidies.

I'm on T-mo so I buy my phones outright. I can pick whatever phone I want whenever and not have to worry about unlocking a phone to resell.

I feel like it's going to take a lot to get me off the note 4.ive had every one except the 2. Don't think I'm going to get the 5.

i thought the pure has a good camera? or does it lack in comparison to the G4?

It does have a good camera, but from what I've seen the G4 has a slightly better camera
HTC One A9 gets benchmarked with 10-core CPU and 4GB of RAM
HTC  Android  Rumors

HTC's next top of the line smartphone has been in the rumors a lot lately, and we already know it's going to be sold as the One A9. Its codename was Aero, and we may have already seen it in a leaked image.

As for specs, we now have a much better idea of what to expect, because a One A9 prototype was put through the paces of the GeekBench benchmark. This has helpfully revealed a couple of key features of the device, thanks to the benchmark's information screen.

The One A9 runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and is apparently powered by MediaTek's upcoming Helio X20 chipset, which comes with a deca-core CPU (that's ten cores, yes). Of those, two are going to be Cortex-A72 cores, which should perform a lot better than the Cortex-A57s in other high-end chipsets. The other eight cores will be Cortex-A53, divided into two different clusters for maximum performance with minimum power drain.

The chipset will be aided by 4GB of RAM, which is now the norm for any flagship offering worth its salt. It's also going to have support for LTE Cat.6 networks, with theoretical peak download speeds of up to 300Mbps, as well as 50Mbps uploads.

The Helio X20 has outperformed every competitor out there in the multi-core benchmark, having a score of 5884, more than even Samsung's Exynos 7420, the current benchmark champion.

The One A9 might become official at a special event on September 29, which HTC's already announced. That could also be when we'll see the Butterfly 3 making its debut.

Used up 75% of my data, stupid that Verizon won't give me an option to add 1gb of data anymore with their new plans.
