Does T-Mobile really pay all of your penalties if you leave an existing contract to join with them, or is there some kind of catch?

You have to give them your old phone. But they will credit the phones worth off of whatever phone you get from tmo

Buy a cheap burner phone you can trade in to tmo. IPhone 4 or somethin like that

That way you can keep your moto x when you get it

Try it.

They have a "test drive" program where they will send you a iPhone with T-Mobile to use for 7 days. They put a hold on your credit card and then take the hold off when you return it

Reddit had some alternative suggestions, Focus and Piktures seem to be mentioned.

I love Quick Pic cause it was fast, I could auto set the brightness to max when viewing pictures, among other features.

Shes looking for the best phone under 250$ish, but nothing over 5.2" as the larger ones are too unwieldy size-wise. So far we're looking at:

HTC M7 - Not the M8 since the alot of people seem unhappy with it vs the M7.. and they took aware capacitive buttons

Motorola MOTO X XT1060 - 2013 Moto X

LG G2

Galaxy S4(or 5 if can be found)

Any ideas?

Moto G 2015 is the best in that price range IMO.

I would go with either the m8 or moto x. The M7 is no longer supported.
