If the Turbo 2 is the Moto X on steroids like last year im copping day one.

This 6+ ain't where it's at.

I need that ois though

Really thinking about the X over the edge plus. Can't ignore that price difference man

Guarantee you, in the next few years, $400 will be the norm for phones.

Hard to ignore a phone that is arguably better and $300 cheaper. People getting tired of contracts and people getting tired of put $6-700 for a damn phone

As long as Apple is around naw

The Note 4 is the last good Samsung flagship. I hope they flop HARD.

Taking away the SD card port and REDUCING the battery.

Also by the time M drops, you know it's pretty much more downhill from there.

:{ looks like MotoX and iPhone 6s Plus for me.

Just curious, why is the OIS a necessity to you?

My G4 has it and honestly I think it's only really useful when I'm manually shooting at slower shutter speeds. In fact I hear a lot of people complain that it's overly aggressive in videos too. I haven't noticed that yet though.

I love my Note 4 wish Samsung supported it more. Now it will take even a bigger seat on the back burner.
The Moto X grew on me. If I was to get a phone now, I would go for that.

Moto X is the only phone I trust to be fluid as months go by, just hope the camera better and the battery life is decent.

1+2 is the only other phone besides the motox that im interested in. apparently the moto g has all day battery life and then some...

Yeah, the Moto G's battery is insane thanks to the 720p screen and processor... but it's still encouraging for Motorola in general.

Waiting for the Nexus this fall before I dump this Note 4.

Gonna be between the Nexus and the Moto X

Smaller battery on top of removing the things we expected them to. Disappointing device, for real.

4 GB of RAM is beastly, but would most users feel any difference from 3 GM of RAM?

I just want them to put together an update for the Note 4 that adds the themes engine, because that's the only thing I feel like I'm missing out on (besides root :|)

It doesn't matter how much RAM they put in it it will still suffer from the same long-term issues we have been dealing with these heavily skinned devices. You guys minus whale start ignoring certain specs. Same thing with the battery. Doesn't matter if it is 3000 or 3500MAH. It will start off good and end badly. Every year we go over this.

Speak on it. That's why I'm hesitant on the Moto X, I want the new Nexus but don't want to wait.

I've always been against skins and wondered why companies always bog down the OS to put their crap on there as if buying the phone wasn't enough.

LG Nexus only has a 5.2" screen. That's the one droppin before the Huwai version. LG couldn't even give us a 5.5" like the G4 :{

No reason to be hesitant about the Moto X. It's software is basically stock. This is the best software experience I've had on a android phone.

The Moto X is essentially stock. The only thing added are like the Active Display and gestures like chop for flashlight and twist for camera.

The reason why these phones with the skins don't make it past 6 months without shenanigans is because Android's biggest competition is itself. At this point you don't have a clue your phone wil be like down the road. I couldn't imagine what it is like for people who keep their phones for 2 years :x. At this point If you aren't foxing with the Moto X, OPO/2, or Nexus when it comes to Android I am not entirely sure what it is that you are doing.

This new price plan change for vzw should benefit me greatly. I have a Smart phone and a basic phone and 10gb that's running me 140 before my discount. with the new pricing, both phones are 20 and the data is 80, which puts me at 120 before discount. Looks like they got the news that they were too expensive and tired of losing customers to tmobile.

Tmobile still got 4 lines for 120 with 10gbs of data a piece.
160 gets you 20gbs each.

I'd bet your in the minority saving with these new plans.

The reason I'd save is because I purchased my last device on a 2 year contract so I'm not making monthly payments.

Yes t-mobile may be less expensive but I doubt they have the same coverage as Verizon. Just a few pages back people are complaining about not receiving messages.

Sooper,

Do you know if Verizon will add a separate fee for corporate email/data? I know my job's exchange server required me to use VZ's corporate data plan which was more expensive than the normal data plan. I have a feeling verizon will add a fee on top of the plans if you need a corporate data component.

Feel like im going to pass on the note 5
Used it today at work didnt blow me away. Kinda glad i picked up the iphone 6 and didnt wait for the note 5.
The s6 plus is wack.

Hmm, I've never heard of that being separate. You might just want to contact customer service.
