After using this g4,the color saturation on the note 4 looks like garbage. Especially on nt. All around the note 4 can't lose tho.

How's your battery life? I've had mine for a little over a week now and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I probably get close to about 3 hours screen-on time but I was expecting more. After using this g4,the color saturation on the note 4 looks like garbage. Especially on nt. I've been wondering this for some time now.
Are all stock Android devices destined to have sub par cameras because of the limitations of vanilla Android?
It's not Vanilla Android's fault. Google just doesn't make the camera a priority. You have to remember, the Nexus devices are primarily meant to be developer devices with the sole intention of showing off the newest OS.
So take for example Motorola (stock Android with moto tweaks), theoretically they have the capability to make a great camera experience they just haven't until this point?
Or are their shooters destined for mediocrity because of the vanilla?

Moto X isn't a "budget" device, it's more like a good-valued flagship. Moto G & Moto E is budget.IMO Motorola will have mediocre cameras because they are a "budget" device.
My curiosity arose from my time using a G2 with a stock rom. The camera which was "good" on the stock LG rom, was beyond awful on stock rom.
So with the purpose of Vanilla being to show off software, will we ever see a stock based device with a top tier camera? Or is that up to the folks at Google?
Did the GPE devices keep the same picture quality of their counterparts?
Usually the manufacturer has software tweaks for their specific camera module, which is why you saw the difference in quality. And yes, sometimes there was a diference in camera quality, among other things, with the GPE devices. Depends on the manufacturer. Some manufacturers will bake their tweaks into the GPE softwareMy curiosity arose from my time using a G2 with a stock rom. It was charging for about one hour or more and it went from 69% to 18% in like 10 minutes .... It has also been rebooting itself 5 to 8 times in a row. **** is frustrating.
