Anyone know where I can check out the M9 in the San Francisco area? i called damn near every AT&T and Bestbuy and they all said no. But they said no about the S6 too so I think they might just be lying..
The AT&Ts i've gone to here in Charlotte dont have the M9s or S6s either.  Gonna try a T-Mobile store tomorrow

they had them out in AT&T stonestown

I am currently switching back and forth from the Note Edge and Nexus 6. I like the Nexus much better. I ordered an S6 Edge, we will see how that fairs. Honestly, nothing beats the stock lollipop experience. The Samsungs may be more attractive, but their skins really cripple a great OS. Better battery life and camera aren't enough to make me settle for less.

yea note 4 is a solid phone, battery life is the truth, and the build quality imo is solid. the only downside is touchwiz...i know EWD is gonna come thru with the cape and fire some shots my way, but i can firmly say it doesn't hold a candle to stock lollipop. maybe the new update will be will run better (i've read positive things).

but navigating the N5 is WAY faster. there are certain quirks touchwiz has imo, but im just being brief right now. note 4 is a awesome phone. home button still takes getting used to for me (used to on screen keys).

S6 might be worth it if u have a s4 or lower i think..

No caping bro. It's your right to prefer stock over the whiz. Many people agree with you actually. I'm in the minority when it comes to not minding TouchWiz as a skin. Actually to be honest I find something nice to appreciate with almost all of the skins. That's the beauty of Android, and why Android even exists. It gives us choice unlike the monolithic Apple iOS

Yeah vanilla android is stupid fast.. it just kind of works. No flash or anything to slow it down..I can appreciate it. Though, I'm on the note that can run vanilla and I have ran it for weeks at a time..I do find myself coming back to tw..just the battery life and spen working are enough for me. It's not slow by any means..it's just no fast when compared to stock android.

Sense is stupid fast these days too..but I haven't used it since the m7.

Like ewd mentions that's the beauty of it all..everyone has a preference. You got vanilla lovers, sense, even LG and wiz etc etc..the choice is yours.

I'm confused about the color of the M9. Is it silver on the front and back with a gold band? Or is it silver on the back, gold band, and then a different shade of gold for the front..

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Drop Test - Most Durable Yet?!:

Screen's ****** up after the 5th or so drop from shoulder height.

Stopped watching right then. All them comments praising its durability, but if the screen looks like sandpaper, did it really "withstand" a drop?

Its not Shatter-proof, but it withstood impact that alot of other devices wouldnt have. Do that with an iPhone and that joint will turn to dust

And how many times in real life will you really drop a phone from shoulder-height?

True. It is durable, but kinda wish they actually hadn't gone full premium build. Feel like the glass/bezel will be looking mad ******* on after a few drops even if they don't break per se. At least with a plastic build, it'll just strip the paint or dent it. That being said, will probably still get the Edge, as long as one of the carriers don't lock the bootloader.

He was dropping it from shoulder height and even over his head..it took some punishment and did pretty damb good :hat

Realistically your phone will never even drop from shoulder height..seeing it last as many drops as it did is pretty impressive..especially for just glass on the front and back.
LG G4 hits GFX Bench with Snapdragon 808 chipset
The LG G4  has appeared in the GFX Benchmark database, revealing the key specs. They are pretty close to what has been rumored so far, though the chipset is a surprise. The chipset reported features a hexa-core processor with Cortex-A57 cores plus an Adreno 418 GPU.

That's certainly not the Snapdragon 810 found in the LG G Flex2. Instead it's the the Snapdragon 808announced in April last year alongside the 810. The phone will come with Android 5.1 Lollipop, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage (23GB user available).

The LG G4 will have a 5.5" QHD screen, same as the current model, but will upgrade the camera to 16MP with 2160p video. The selfie camera has been bumped up to 8MP with nearly 2160p video (the numbers reported by the benchmark don't seem to match a standard resolution).

Looking at the benchmark scores, the new GPU beats last year's Adreno 330 in the LG G3. Qualcomm said it should be 30% faster than the 330, but didn’t compare it to the 420. Again, going by the benchmark scores, the Adreno 418 seems to be in the middle between those two GPUs.
GFX 3.0 Manhattan (1080p offscreen)
Higher is better

 • LG G Flex222
 • LG G4 (rumored)14.9
 • LG G311
GFX 3.0 Manhattan (onscreen)
Higher is better

 • LG G Flex2 (1080p screen)22
 • LG G4 (rumored, 2160p screen))9.4
 • LG G3 (2160p screen)7.7

So it remains to be seen if two A57s and four A53s can beat for Krait 400 cores. At least they'll produce less heat than the Snapdragon 810 chipset.

The LG G4 is rumored to arrive in April  and we've already had a good look  at its new, slightly curved design. There was some talk it will be demoted from its flagship position and going by the chipset this seems true, at least compared to the LG G Flex2.

Seems that LG gave up on tryna optimize for the 810 lol.  It would have been suicide to put out the G4 with their software performing like it does on the GFlex2
