Samsung has already sent out invitations for the company’s press event on March 1st where they will announce their much-anticipated Galaxy S6 flagship. This event will be held in Barcelona as part of MWC (Mobile World Congress) at 6:30pm (local time), and this Korean tech giant is also expected to announce the curved Galaxy S6 Edge handset alongside the Galaxy S6. This device will reportedly sport curves on both sides of the display, unlike the Galaxy Note Edge which is curved only on the right side. It remains to be seen if this will happen in the end, but everything points to the fact that Samsung will launch these two handsets.
That being said, we’ve been getting a lot of leaks and rumors regarding both of these devices recently, which was to be expected. New set of Galaxy S6
renders and schematics leaked yesterday along with some alleged
accessories for that device. The leaked handset was even compared to the iPhone 6 in the renders and was sporting a protruding camera, which seemed too far-fetched to be true, well… another set of images is here, and it shows that very same handset. This time around though, we get a really sleek and nice set of renders. If you take a look at the gallery below this article, you’ll find a bunch of alleged Galaxy S6 images. These renders will let you see every single side of this device. The device looks sleek, I have to admit, but I just hate protruding cameras and I rarely say that something reminds me of some other device, but this really seems iPhone 6 inspired, though we already knew that from the previous leaks. The device is also pictured next to the iPhone 6, Galaxy Alpha and the Galaxy S5, for comparisons sake.
I’d really like to know what you think, do you believe this is the final design of the Galaxy S6, is this the device Samsung will showcase on March 1st? Do you like this design, or not? Let us know what you think in the comments, we’d love to hear from you.
