how much yall think the s4 will be off contract or do yall think the HTC one will probably be cheap because nobody wants it
Think they will be similarly priced, the One is $599($579 at tmobile) so the s4 will probably be $600-620

how much yall think the s4 will be off contract or do yall think the HTC one will probably be cheap because nobody wants it

this is whats gonna happen

it will be 99 on tmobile with that new deal...im sure the s4 will be 199.99

the htc one is gonna drop in price fast...at least on tmobile everyone gonna get the iphone and if not they are going to get the s4, htc one doesnt even have a date yet

49.99 by may or june

This Tmobile is getting the job done I`m gonna end up sabing 80 bucks a month. the Nexus 4 camera sucks balls but no complaints other than that.

So is there a Free Wifi Calling App out there?

Question about Straight Talk.

Do I need a straight talk sim card? Asking because I have a T-Mobile sim card already.

so da s4 is da same size as the s3?

Screen is 5 compared to 4.8 on the S3

The overall device is the exact same size except the S4 is a little thinner.

so da s4 is da same size as the s3?

its 5 inches think the s3 is 4.7 or 4.8

i shoulda been more specific. i meant physical size.

i like that they are expanding the screen but not making the device bigger

Especially on my device the evo lte which is nearing uts one year anniversary. On chrome browing nt mobile was kinda difficult which shouldn't be happening but then after opera it felt fast.
I might try dolphin and see how it compares

Taking it a step further... Here is what the major players are doing in the market. NOTE: Samsung and HTC stock is not traded here in the US, there are ways to get it, but that's beyond the scope of this post. I'm buying AAPL Stock in July with my discount. I'm getting Google Stock before the year ends. I don't expect to get rich or even make a lot of money...I just want to be part owner of Apple and Google :lol :lol :lol

Samsung though :eek

By the way, my post was not to start a "who's better than who" discusiion, but simply just to show how each company is showing in the market. It's listed in alphabetical order, not ordinal

Samsung Galaxy Mega is official and comes in 6.3- and 5.8-inch sizes

We knew Samsung was planning more devices, but we didn't expect the arrival of two Galaxy Mega smartphones at the same time. Both are apparently headed to Europe some time next month, continuing to prove that Samsung are willing to test out any screen-size. The 6.3-inch model has an 'HD display' (we're chasing the precise resolution, though it's likely 720p) alongside a dual-core 1.7GHz processor, Android 4.2 and an 8-megapixel camera. Software features like Air View, Multi Windows, Pop-up Play will make sure you have plenty to do on that giant screen. The Galaxy Mega arrives somewhere between Samsung's Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy Note II, although we're hoping it'll be priced slightly more humbly than either neighbor. The Galaxy Mega 6.3 houses LTE and HSPA radios, while you'll get GPS and GLONASS to aid any location-based antics. There's a 3,200mAh battery and internal storage that can be expanded by microSD up to 64GB, with 8 or 16 gigs (there's two models) built-in to begin with.

The HSPA-only Galaxy Mega 5.8 reduces the size -- and pretty much all the other specs. The resolution drops down to qHD (960 x 540), while it packs a lesser 1.4GHz dual-core processor. It has the same 8-megapixel camera, while the smaller, er, Mega, will arrive in only one size -- an 8GB model. No word on pricing for either yet, but the Ubergizmo team has already got the chance to handle the Korean manufacturer's 6.3-inch goliath. Take a look at their first impressions at the More Coverage link.

Update: Samsung has confirmed to us that the resolution on the 6.3-inch model is in fact 1280 x 720.

Hmmm Interesting, but a decrease in resolution and processor it seems.

so the 6.3" mega has lower resolution than the 5.0" s4?

is it intended for the visually impaired?

how many sizes of devices do they have now? s4 mini (4"), s4 (5"), note 2 (5.5"), mega (5.8"), mega (6.3"), 7" tablet, 10" tablet... am i missing anything?

elder, be glad you're working for a company that at least has a philosophy.

Samsung is flooding the market. The new mega are both dual core and are marketed for pppl too cheap too pay top dollar for da note

Yeah i dont really like anyways but from a business perspective it kinda makes sense.

I kinda want the htc one but i know ill get rid of it as soon as the s4 comes out

Yeah guys, this kind of caught everybody off guard...they went with the bigger yet not necessarily better theme with them. They rolled the dice with the Note 1 and it became a success almost overnight, I guess they are doing something similar with these models to gauge the buyer response. I'm just guessing at this point.

Samsung will be the cause of their own demise. :{ Too many devices out on the market at once.

This HTC one is coooooold blooded.

I think they are just producing phablet devices that will fall into that gs2/gs3 price range for people who want the extra screen size but not the s-pen/price. They recently updated and re-released the gs2 and the gs3 lte will be available soon...well if its not already available.
