By the time I was 8
My moms me taught me to cook breakfast
Like eggs toast and bacon
My own lunch like soup or noodles and of course sandwiches
And dinner like baked chicken
I would catch public transportation to get to school and back by myself
I knew how to sweep and mop and wash dishes and clothes
That being said
My mom left me alone to like go to work or something like that sometimes
But not no damn weekend or few days
