Today I cut my VAIO on only to receive a green power light with a black screen. I call Sony support and they say it's the motherboard. Anyone else have problems with their VAIO out of nowhere.

a serious problem with the mother board is likely going to be prohibitively expensive like 600+, had my viaos mother board and screen replaced and I was quoted 800 bucks i got it for the low tho
You are better off buying a new computer.

My sister bought a Vaio a few years ago,
Terrible experience, Never again. :x
The battery life is terrible and the frame is garbage.
But like OKB said, It's expensive to fix it, Might as well get rid of it.
cardboard? really? you really believe that? The frame really is terrible. When I brought it mine in to a local shop to save my HD, the technician mentioned that he's seen some Sony laptops constructed in part with cardboard.
