My older cousin getting the Shy Pink Vs (and the Fire Red Vs from around the same time) are what made me start paying attention to sneakers back in '06.

I have older sneaker memories than that, but those two are what got me on forums and learning the history and ****. Still have a soft spot for the Shy Pinks, and the mockups of these remind me of them.

Weirdly, I actually think these look cool. Not big on the light pink on the flames and Jumpman, but overall I could wear those. I won't buy them, though, too many other shoes to wear. But I think the yellowed sole and lace locks work well here. If this was an Off White release with some writing on the side, a hole in the tongue and zip-ties attached, people would pay $600+ for it LOL
