i go to my usual tax guy, its very well known and popular
but anyways
How do i avoid getting a return?
I contribute about 15-16k into my 403b annually, which i understand lowers my taxable income...
i also have a son and file my baby mother at a dependent also
i also file as head of household...
what should i do to avoid giving the government my funds tax free for a year??
thanks
You have to look at the we and check off what applies to you. But from what you told let's see
You can claim 6 actually since you make your 401k thing you proably can get away with 8 yep 8 on your w4. Ask your job to change it
If you plan to do the same thing this year then change your exemptions to about 7.
Here is the irs w4calculator
http://apps.irs.gov/app/withholdingcalculator/
Right now for me for every $1000 they take out $40 fed taxes. I claim 5.
