unpopular or maybe popular opinion: The 90s / early 00s had better top tier talent and the current day has much better depth. And i’m talking about everything that matters.

Tyson, Jordan, Shaq etc
Women
Food (less so here but lack of options made it feel that way)
Music

now the depth is better. especially for women there’s millions of gorgeous everyday instagram and social media birds. top tier is lacking though no “IT” women like a prime Jennifer Connelly / Jessica Alba

Bro that's all makeup and filters and girls posting the same old tired squats in the gym

If anything, it feels like a cookie cutter assembly line producing the same women with no originality. Straight up clones that get replaced by newer ones in a matter of years like cars

There are always, "IT" women. You couldn't look at any period in history since the TV/Screen became a thing and not see the "IT" women of the era.

You could say YOU (we) aren't in the know and/or are clueless about it but there is always SOMEbody promoted as the one/few.

sleeping in beds is overrated. the only reason i have one is b/c of the stigma of not having one.

I usually just sleep on the floor.

Good point about sharing beds.

Not sure how that would go over (emotionally) for many women i ln relationships but I am sure sleeping alone would provide for more uninterrupted sleep.

But the stigma of sleeping separate would force outsiders to analyze it into something deeper than what it actually is. (Not saying outsiders' opinions would even matter)

I slept on a "pallet" most of my childhood. A pallet is basically a sleeping bag with some foam in it that you put on the floor. Not a fond memory but I didnt really gaf at the time.
