I would have no problem if he just said "nirvana sucks", but "1 hit wonder" when they had 4 consecutive #1 albums in the 90's is just a lie.

I agree that Nirvana is overrated, but to call them a “one hit wonder” is 100% objectively false.

My verbiage has rustled feathers. I am aware of the technical term hit. I also sometimes say a song is hitting, and its of my opinion as well, not that the song actually charted.

I wouldn't know who Nirvana was if the band tee trend didn't pop off a few years back. I'm 24 and never been in to that genre of music.

Sports journalist Dan Patrick interviewed NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen over the comments he made during his GQ interview. One of Pippen's bombshell remarks came when he claimed Phil Jackson's famous decision to draw up a last-second play for Toni Kukoc instead of him was racially motivated.
"I don't think it's a mystery, you need to read between the fine lines. It was my first year playing without Michael Jordan, why wouldn't I be taking that last shot?" Pippen said to GQ. "I been through all the ups and downs, the battles with the Pistons and now you gonna insult me and tell me to take it out? I thought it was a pretty low blow. I felt like it was an opportunity to give [Kukoc] a rise. It was a racial move to give him a rise. After all I've been through with this organization, now you're gonna tell me to take the ball out and throw it to Toni Kukoc? You're insulting me. That's how I felt."

When Patrick told Pippen that calling Jackson's decision "a racial move" insinuates that the legendary coach is a racist, Pippen said, "I don't got a problem with that," before confirming his belief that Jackson is a racist.
"I mean, do you remember Phil Jackson left the Lakers, went and wrote a book on Kobe Bryant, and then came back and coached him? I mean, who would do that? You name someone in professional sports that would do that, you know? I think he tried to expose Kobe in a way that he shouldn't have," Pippen added. "You're the head coach. You're the guy that sits in the locker room and tells players, 'This is a circle and everything stays within the circle, because that's what team is about.' But you as the head coach, open it up, and now you go out and you try to belittle, at that time, probably one of the greatest players in the game."

Phil HAS said some wild things about Black Athletes over the last 15 years, so I ain't dismissing the thought of him being a racist White Man Born in 1945.
But, I don't see how Pippen's example showed proof of that.

I believe Pip. Look at how Phil labeled LeBron business partners as "posse". You can't overlook at some of the racial undertones in Phil's language because you think he is chill/zen or whatever the F you call it.
