A lot of people aren't feeling the Curry 2, myself included, but there are some colorways I am aiming to get. This is just from my observation, but maybe when they see Curry wearing the shoes in game, they will sell more. The Curry 2 just doesn't have that same pop as the 1s. I guess we'll see.

Yeah which is why I'm really considering dropping $400 on the champ pack because I haven't seen any colorway of the 2's that I think is worth buying.

Man, so is there really a decent quality difference between the 1's and 2's?? That's very disappointing to hear...I think I'm in for the floor general or father and son, but I hate cheaply looking products when we are spending the kind of money we do...

I went to get my brother a pair, and ended up buying a pair for myself. Just from trying them at the store, they definitely feel cheaper than the ones. Gonna sit on them for a minute before I decide whether to keep them.

How is the cushioning?  I'm leaning towards these for my playing shoes but I need some cushioning for my bad feet.

Cushioning is low and hard but not like the 1. Good middle of 1 and CFD. If you need the best cushioning go Rose 6. If you need low and fast, go Curry.

I don't know what the materials actually are so I can't say they're "cheaper", but they're definitely different from the 1's. I don't own any CFD's either but that seems like a better comparison.

Still waiting to hoop in mine... came down with a cold and just trying to recup since work has been busy.  If not tomorrow, I am dragging myself there Thursday to play haha...  Will hold judgement on materials until I play, but I did love anafoam and don't know if i will love these or not.

Played one game today before it got stupid at 24. Traction was almost too good - I almost fell on a drive because I wasn't expecting it to grab. Cushion is softer than 1 but still firm and low. Upper fits great

Duke, glad to hear you like the Curry 2s. Looking forward to your review on both the 2s and the Rose 6s. Rose seems like more of big man shoe and the Curry seems more like a PG and wing shoe.

Also, some courts and runs are just dumb and not worth it. As I've gotten older I just don't put up with as much crap. I look for quality runs and guys that are fun to play with.
