So here's the deal, I'm planning on going to Vegas in October.
It's my bday, and my girl's bday too, so I want to get a pretty nice room for us to have all weekend.
I was looking at the Palazzo, or maybe Caesars. Anybody have any other suggestions?

Also, I was going to rent out a room for my boys to stay in, and for my girls friends to stay in too. What's a nice hotel with some big rooms for cheap?

Lastly, what are some of the better shows to see in Vegas?

I'm turning 21, so I'm trying to plan this out right. Any help is appreciated.

Stayed at Ceaesars last time, rooms are ok but its a little outdated. I prefer Mirage, PLanet Hollywood, Venetian and Palazzo (havent stayed at those twoplaces but I def would). You arent going to be in the room that much but you still want something nice.
Shows I would say Cirque Solei (sp), Mystere is Dope, Zumanity sucked, and La Reve at the Wynn was nice
They have a lot of good deals from now through dec, prob going again in june or july

im from dallas and tomorrow im going to vegas. probably my 30th time or so. if you want a really good deal on airfare and room, check out usairways vacations.with the economy the way it is vegas is hurting bad. you can get crazy deals. last time me and my girl stayed at bellagio. room where okay, but the location isgreat because its in the middle of the strip. if you want a nice big room, stay at wynn, or venetian but its pricey. but if you want a nice cozy casino stay atparis. rooms hella small, but i like it. since its your first time in vegas, i dont think you should splurge and stay at a high end hotel. having said thatdont stay a crap one either. i would suggest planet hollywood. best bang for the money. middle of the strip, good buffet, nice shopping...and hot $*% dealersat night..i mean stripper type dealers.

P MAC ONE- you WANT to be in the middle of the action- Ceasars Palace for you and you your girl. A bit pricey, but get the cheapest room if you can. Also, tryone of those online travel sites to get a good deal. I have a time share @ the Flamingo Hilton- across the street and travelocity, orbitz, etc.. still kicksbutt. BTW- you can actually STAY at the Flamingo Hilton- nice pool and decent rooms and prices. In return, your amigos can stay at the hotel next door-Imperial Palace. You can skimp and go to the lesser priced hotels, but you're gonna be crying because you're stuck in no mans land. Show wise- any showin Vegas is good. Just plan ahead or buy tix in advance so you don't have to wait for anything.

Thanks T21D for that info

Someone told me to stay at Ceasars, but I was wondering if the Wynn and Encore are nice?

The wynn and encore are some of the newest hotels. The rooms there are all suites so you can't go wrong.
The bigger suites at the wynn are very nice.
Even at the palazzo regular suites are with one or two beds and a living room area. You should be able to get these rooms for an okay price. Try to find a hostbefore going.
Of course better rooms are gonna cost more but def worth it. Imo go to the wynn, encore or palazzo. You'll have a great experience.

For shows, since your with your girl you can't go wrong with cirque du soleil anywhere. A lot of different shows along the strip.
You can also check out phantom of the opera. Def recommended.

Well i'm pretty sure that some hotels offer hosts if you request one.
Our hosts took care of our room and eats etc.
Check this out.Mandalay bay.
It can depend on how much you gamble or if you can establish a relationship with a host.
A friend of ours knew a host at the mgm and they hooked it up from there.
Hope this helps.

Not necessarily.
You can try calling some of the hotel concierge services and see if any hosts are available to help plan your room and vacation.
Try some of the older hotels like mgm, luxor, mandalay, even stratosphere. You never know.
Especially since your visit isn't until october anyways. Let them know you're turning 21 and want to gamble and need a place to stay at.
I'm sure you'll get some good results.

I'm taking my wife to Vegas next week and I'm looking for a good show...we're staying in the Paris. Looking for a romantic place for dinner, anysuggestions? Thanx in advance.

I'll Suggest the Signature at the MGM Grande plus you can hit Wet Republic. I'm not a fan of the shows cause IMO those are for the older crowds.I'd rather get it poppin at the pool. My other Pool Party suggestion is Hard Rock's Rehab. At night the move is Tao on Saturday and Lavo on Sunday. Youcan do some light shopping at Caesar's Forum Shops and all the other surrounding shops I'm sure you already know of. I just got back from Vegas and amgoing back June 7th for my homie's b-day. He's DJing at Wet Republic that day and lord knows where we'll end up that night. Holler if ya got anyquestions

So I'm stayin at the Venetian

I definitely plan on hitting up Tao.

For my first time being in Vegas after 21, what are some things I need to know?
