It's funny, our dept had a May The 4th Be With You pot luck yesterday & our dept manager made Hawaiian pulled pork BBQ & served it on King's rolls... That ish was sooo good & the Kings made it that much better. The rolls have a nice sweet taste to them.

These things are Crack. I can eat a whole bag of those delicious ******* with nothing on them
I actually only had the Hawaiian pork on these at a firehouse subs and it was ******* delicious. As far as I know Hawaiian pork is usually a whole hig, wrapped in banana leaves, and then buried in a pit. Besides that different cooking method Hawaiian sauce is just a sweeter and different sauce than typical bbq sauce. How do you think some b-more pit beef would taste on this bread?
School me on that Hawaiian pork...
I was JUST thinking about some southern style pulled pork on there w/ the slaw
*drools*

BMore pit beef would be great on some Kings, but dude, anything would be geat.
I remember an Easter dinner 2 years ago where my relative had Kings rolls to go with dinner & had toasted them in the oven. One of my relatives & I made sliders with the honey glazed ham & home made mac & cheese.
I have a childhood friend that's a restaurateur who does a variation on BMore pit beef but uses Korean kalbi flavors instead & uses Kings rolls.... He puts like a kimchi inspired relish or slaw on top...

My dept manager made it in a crock pot with a 3lb pork shoulder, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 1 can of pineapple rings, a cup of some Hawaiian BBQ sauce (can't remember the name he said)... He roasted this in crock pot over night...
Man, you mentioned slaw... I love putting slaw on pulled BBQ. I also do a double bacon wrapped hot dog with baked beans & cole slaw on top... Mmmm....
^
What lunch you got? A sandwich?

I feel like the chorus to Ginuwines "differences" was a result of this bread. View media item 1520285
Son
I remember visiting Hawaii when I was 11. Ya boy ate about 4 of these during my stay. Wish they sold these on the mainland. I feel like the chorus to Ginuwines "differences" was a result of this bread. View media item 1520285
