Marcus is a joke. That trophy room 5 release was very telling of how he runs his business. Dudes were scooping multiple pairs at the store

read the last page or two. its a combo of that but moreso the fakes were released very early and were top quality. i havent seen a comparison vs a RETAIL pair, but im guessing its super super minimal. the fact they had them so early means they were produced either together or with the exact specs and materials.
‘supposedly’ there was a theft at memphis. also paris... but i think its more covering. ‘supposedly’ most the pairs are gone.
however most pairs werent even in the usa at the time and hadnt been paid for.
blue laces were added to try and differeniate from early pairs, but moreso the early fakes that were purchased by instagrammers IN MASSES.

This is all so crazy to me. Not the backdooring or stolen pairs but the fact that so many people are splurging $2000-3000 in a pandemic on a pair of shoes when it’s possible they could be fakes.

Yeah the blue lace thing makes sense...You can clearly see on the pairs behind Marcus on the SNKRS vid that they don’t have the blue laces either...I can see them throwing a set in with the pairs that come out of Trophy Room itself, like not even the SNKRS pairs will have them...
Just one more reason to not go aftermarket for a pair honestly...The early fakes are so close to the authentic pairs it’s just not worth the risk...I mean dropping a stack and a half on a pair that’s impossible to authenticate is game over...It was almost there for the Travis Scott pair but they took it past the point of no return with these...It’s legit disappointing because I was hyped on these with the callback story they were using for the inspiration, but it is what it is I I guess...

The entire release is a myth and everything is fake. That's my take on it. I have NO clue why people are buying anything from anyone on IG. FB just as bad.
I need their connect so I can buy a house too.. so many gullible folks. And half of them are all the 'new sneakerheads' and hypebeasts. You wanted rare so badly.. now you got it by any means necessary.

im never one to say fakes are made in the same factory, cuz theyre not.
but this fake release was definately an inside job. either they were made at the same factory, next door, or someone sold the build specs to the fake factories while the real ones were being produced. i know which factory released them first and they were available the day of the first sneak peak pic, which i believe might have been fake too.

There's always discrepancies, ALWAYS 1 LITTLE thing that differentiates the real from the fake. I'm sure after the actual release, those differences will be exposed.

Has anyone here on NT ever won a Trophy Room email Raffle? Not the local only newsletter ones they used to do, but the newer version where you email all your info & if they hit you back you’ve won? Just curious, I never see anyone post claiming that they hit there for any release...

this is what im saying. anyone that has more than a couple thousand followers is an instant ‘plug’ and ‘has connects’
people will come in here preaching or trying to tell a 20 year NT vet that he doesnt know a thing. people have been blinded by these fakes. meanwhile i know more about the fakes than anyone on NT.
these people are trying their hardest to get every pair sold before the release is canceled and they are stuck with TONS of known fakes. i can only imagine the excuses being given for no blue laces.
