This weekend is THON weekend at Penn State. It is a 46 hour dance marathon to battle Pediatric Cancer. Different organizations (club sports, frats, sororities, etc.) are each assigned at least one host family where one of the children has a form of cancer. They work year long to organize this event and they come together at this weekend. It has been taking place yearly since 1973 and has raised $78 million since its inception.
