This needs to be discussed

the way I see it is this here...If you think me making a low offer is wasting your time because you're too busy to type "no thanks" then you don't need to be selling at all! its funny how sellers actually get mad at people like "how dare you try to pay less" im like are you stupid THATS THE POINT to negotiate whats fair to BOTH parties i'll offer what i think is reasonable you respond i understand you have to turn a profit but im not here to put your kids through college
laugh.gif

at the end of the day sellers need to remember a simple rule of selling items for profit: You need MY money I can live without YOUR shoes, YOU have money tied up in those shoes I DONT so why not be a little more hospitable and quit pretending like you have so many other offers on the table...if you have that many offers you should probably hurry and take one as busy as you are you cant waste time with me lol

I'll put it like this....

I never say "no lowballers" on here because that's just what I've come to expect on here. I could sell a DS AJ IV from '89 for $5, and somebody would say "I'll give you $3.50 for it"...

Personally, I feel that I price my items VERY fairly....if it's a new release, 9/10, I'll beat ANYBODY'S price...so, no...I won't budge. The only way I'll drop it, is if they don't move, and that rarely happens cause usually my prices are very fair.

If it's a used item, it all depends...I usually take the "rarity" of the shoe into consideration, any damage, orig.box, etc.when I set the price. Some stuff I sell is extinct, so no...I still won't budge. I don't care how many times I put it up.

Hell, there's even been times where I get an offer for a shoe, don't reply, and few days later, they've bumped their offer up or agreed to my price. You could've just done that from the beginning instead of trying to save a buck.

IMO, when I buy something....if the person wants a certain amount of money, and I feel that it's out of my range, or that they overpriced, I'm not going to e-mail them. I feel that their price is their price, be it crazy or outrageous. There's no shortage of shoes, so I'll find the item elsewhere. I've never in all my years of buying shoes offered a lower price, but...that's just me. I just don't believe in it.

I think some people on here just try and get something for nothing. I think some people get mad cause the offers are just insulting. It takes balls to tell someone you'll give 'em $110 when they wanted $200...seriously, why even bother? You can't POSSIBLY think you're going to get a polite reply, or even one at all! Or maybe you'll get lucky & catch someone hurtin...IDK...

BUT, I've sold over 350 pairs of shoes on here, so I've seen it all & dealt with it all......and some people are just flat-out cheap.

great stuff.  I pay for a shoe what I want to pay.  condition and everything else comes into it, but if i need the shoe, i'll pay what i think is worth, to me.  when i sell all of mine, you'll do the same.  we collect, we love and will pay based on that, period.  im not over paying. ever. i will pay for what i love though, always

Dudes are never satisfied with a deal no matter how good it is.

Its only a good deal for you, if you have no room for negotiating dont post anything for sell. You should always expect someone to counter offer on something that is not sold out of a store whether brick and mortar or online.

It's a recession man. If a shoe is hyped enough and there's a demand with little supply, then they will be worth more. People buy kicks to keep or resell. If they can make money on a shoe then why not? IMO VNDS sounds better than used. Just a thought

It is amazing that people only think of themselves and do not understand that we should be looking out for each other in this small community.

Get the hell out of here bro. That's the best price online and I even told him I'd price match if he found a better deal. If I had listed it at $250, he would've asked for $220.

First off we are not in a recession, secondly you dont get over on someone else to compensate for a lack of money earning on your part.
