I watch a lot of hgtv and it seems like NYC is similar to some major European cities where size costs a lot and u still get little ..
I've lived in London and got friends in NYC. Its really comparable. Most sites who say European cities like London are more expensive fail to take in purchasing power parity. Basically the US dollar value is less AND you can buy more with it. Well... not really but the best I can explain it, more like the USD PPP is high for how much it is worth i.e. a dollar menu item is a dollar here but £1.50 there instead of £.70 to make the price roughly equal. People only acknowledge that the USD is less/GBP is more which throws off the results by a lot.
