Again, I don't understand how Arsenal fans can stay this committed to this club. It's one thing if your club is losing while trying, but when the owner constantly tells you that he couldn't care less about winning and is just looking to drain every last penny out of the fans, how do you keep going to games, buying kits, getting emotionally invested, etc.?

We all joke around about Man United and Liverpool spending millions and still struggling this decade, but at least you can tell that those clubs want to win. Can you honestly say that about Arsenal? I forgot who it was, but someone here justified Arsenal having the highest ticket prices in Europe because they play in London. I mean Chelsea is out there in the same city winning/contending for Champions League and the Premier League, and they charge lower ticket prices than a club that takes pride getting into the top 4 (and apparently doesn't care when they don't). I'd take a crazy owner like Abramovich that fires managers for not winning titles every year ANY DAY over one that clearly doesn't give a @#$@

Maybe it's because I'm getting older, but this unconditional loyalty to clubs is pathetic to me. Dudes have more loyalty to their clubs than they do to human beings they interact with in real life
I found this year that I have no emotional ties left with the club as it currently is. I like the team still, want to still watch and root for them, but I feel nothing anymore. I can't get excited or disappointed with this clown show anymore; so long as Kroenke and Wenger are around, I might just not give a single **** about the results. I hope they can fix this but I'm not expecting anything.

haha didn't notice that breast padding till now.  it looks weird now that you have mentioned it

Yeah don't see anyone claiming the cup is wrapped up at all :lol

I'd be feeling a bit more nervous if the match was in Amsterdam given their record at home but I think the squad would be able to capitalize on their less than stellar defense in Stockholm.

Dudes have lost most of their EL matches away from home. Their attack is what worries me though given how Dolberg and Traore have been in great form lately.

Not sure how much I'd trust Blind and Jones to keep them in check for a full 90...

Congrats to the Scousers on not winning anything period for the 5th year in a row :smokin

Serious question: if y'all lose to Ajax, what makes Mou any better than LVG or Moyes?

If he wins the EL with the CL qualification it brings,it'll be a somewhat successful season all things considered.

Obviously the league form was disappointing after that rough first patch of the season but the squad finished strong for the most part and the footy has been a welcome departure from that diabolical, negative brand of footy under LVG :lol :x,occasional parking the bus be damned :lol.

They just need to be more clinical,it's not that they haven't created chances, they've created a ton. Had a few matches of more than 20+ shots on goal, under LVG it would've taken over a month to reach that total.

All in all,the league season wasn'the what was expected but it'll be acceptable if he manages to bring home another piece of silverware and complete the collection of european trophies.

The foundations of a solid and contending side are clear to see. They just need that killer instinct and efficiency in attack to complete the spine of the squad. They're already a well organized side. This summer window is gonna be crucial for Mou because the honeymoon is gonna be over next season and the real expectations and pressure to contend will start to rise

i think mou's tactics are dated.

his old formula just doesn't work anymore.

united does not play exciting football. they don't attack like other squads and not even like the top squads in england.

even klopp called out mou's tactics this year saying his team wouldn't let in goals if they defended with the numbers united does.

mou has always had trouble with offensive tactics and even hazard called him out at chelsea.

united offensively have been pretty bad... if it weren't for ibra united would be even further off.

no surprise really, united are going to have to offer some huge wages to superstars this summer.

just looked and united only scored 54 goals in the league

that's 23 less than arsenal

The narrative that someone with his record of success has had trouble playing attacking footy isn't true at all. His teams haven't had trouble scoring when he finally has his squad in place. His title winning Real squad still holds the La Liga record for most goals scored in a season and he's had high scoring squads in England and Italy too. Just because he's pragmatic at times depending on the opponent and situation doesn't mean his squads can't score goals :lol, feel like that's become a footy myth.

In silly season news...it begins 8o

@GFFN: AS Monaco are seeking to tie up three major deals by the end of next week, GFFN has learnt - the situation https://t.co/mx14LNhZE3

Bakayoko,Silva and Fabinho?

Also on the topic of the final, I'm always nervous before a cup final no matter how strong a squad we have. However, if I had to pick any manager in the world for a one-off match, it would be Jose.

He fell out with Roman and his squad quit on him,I could see why :lol

Still his defensiveness has become overstated at times lately,I'm expecting things to ease up though once he has another window to tinker with the squad and is more comfortable since he has a more stable situation now with the full backing of the ownership and control over personnel.

SAF would do the EXACT same thing over the years.

When he has his team, and against the right opponents, the goals would fly in. Derby's and tougher matched, pragmatic, defensive etc.

People need to at least let Mou have a season with his own squad before judging his tenure at United.

Y'all never gave Moyes or LVG a fair shake. I don't know why we gotta start with Mou.
