Chicago is a bad team and Schweinsteiger going there makes zero sense from an on field perspective. This is the exact type of move every decently run MLS club has been trending away from in the last 4 - 5 years.

To be fair I fully agreed with that. I went on to praise the Nikolic and Dax signings and I'm a known fan of Paunovic. It does look like my harsh criticism of the front office in overspending for Schwensteiger was misplaced.

I believe you guaranteed playoffs. It's a great start but a lot of season left to play. It will be interesting to see how Basti manages the workload down the stretch this season, his physiological clock is in for a shake up.
