Drawing to Middlesbrough, Everton, Southampton, Spurs (**** that ref) and Stoke now at home this season killed whatever title push we could have possibly had. All those draws came at the worst possible time to drop points during the season. Gotta focus on the FA cup now and still try for a strong showing in the Champions League

Bruh it's just a Manchester thing this year. At first I thought you were talmbout us :lol

Still think both of us finish top 4 tho.

You guys are trippin on that penalty call. :lol

Marquinhos straight up goofed. In what world can you scissor a forwards trailing leg while you put your arm across his chest the second he gets ready to receive a ball out the air. :lol

Of course Suarez embellished, so does every forward in the world when there's contact like that.

Marquinhos has to defend better in a clutch moment there, no crying about refs.

I get what your saying but the contact he made with Suarez IMO was not enough to bring him to ground thats why I think its a dive.

FAX

its obvious he tripped up his legs then threw up his hands like he didnt touch him...which every defender does when they are guilty.

You know what? I'm glad Barca won. It'll be that much sweeter when they get eliminated later.

Suarez's penalty doesn't even bother me as much as its being highlighted

Kurzawa gave Barca a goal

I feel you, I just by no means feel it was an egregious call and think most view that call favorably if it's favor of their team.

Personally I don't believe it's possible to dive when contact is involved.

Going down the rabbit of hole of, "there was contact, but did the force warrant the physical reaction" is a complete mess when it comes to tripping and clips of the leg/feet.

Much easier to explicitly call a dive simulation when no contact was involved or the attacker initiated the contact and to hold both attackers and defenders to that strict standard.

Marquinhos shouldn't even be allowing the referee to make that call, putting himself in such a questionable position is ridiculous - that's the point.

It's like some of y'all are trying to break some news "BREAKING NEWS: Suarez dived!!"...... hmm, what a surprise guys. OF COURSE Suarez is going to dive, we know what type of player he is, he has and will never change but - Wtf are you doing there Marquinhos? Along with the the goal before the first half, Now This guy had a terrible game.

For the United and Pool fans coming in harmony and blaming the refs instead of PSG, take some wise words from Ferdinand and Gerrard, and Michael Owen...

I know y'all are EPL heads but god damn bro, if these guys can be neutral fans, why can't y'all fools? :lol

I feel you Marquinhos didn't do himself any favors by giving Suarez the contact to even dive in the first place cause we know Suarez will do anything to get an advantage.

The only problem is the part in red would work great but i've seen refs a few times this season book a player for diving when their was legit contact that brought them down so its just unfortunate it isn't always called consistently by the refs.

Yea the inconsistency is maddening. So many things that could be done to further curb diving and help improve the game in general but it all starts with consistent enforcement of the existing laws and try then implementation of new tools like live review to make sure we get the call right.

united fans will never be neutral towards barca because we washed the **** out of them twice in the champs league final.  straight played them off the pitch.

united hasn't been seen in europe since

obviously im not talking about all the united fans just most of them

from looking like the worst and most complacent Barca side in some time, to contention for a treble in the span of a month.

there were some great moments in the match, but let's not forget Iniesta of all people, at his age and small size winning that ball against Marquinhos and hitting an insanely clever backheel into the danger area.

PSG and Arsenal, forever the Betas of world footy. Prime curse in full effect. Glad to see he's slowly growing more and more fond of Barca.

I understand being at work, but lolz @ everyone who watched other matches.

Don't worry. I like watching Madrid too b.

Does Fox Deportes no longer broadcast the Copa Libertadores? WTF? :{

It sounds disrespectful to say this but it was a 6-1 win and I really don't think Barca had many standout performances. It was a great team win but you'd expect if someone told you Barca won 6-1 against PSG to be able to go down the line of standout performers.

Maybe we're spoiled by Barca's players but this seemed like it had a ton to do with how trash PSG were.

Still the greatest footy comeback I've ever seen by far.

I hope we just all understand that psg came in 4-0. There is no reason that you only score one and allow Barca to score 5. Period. Don't understand why Di Maria came in so late.

PSG needs an Alpha Dog and smarter Manager cause he outthought himself. PSG ain't no defensive juggernaut so for them to give it a try of all days was dumb. When Alexis joins the squad, they'll be complete.
