Oh boy if the Gunners lose at home with all this tension in the air...we'd be getting some all-time AFTV
I'm expecting nothing less than a riot if the Gunners lose

Bruh just wait until Bayern goes and scores. Wenger won't be safe anywhere.Arsene got cats damaging their keyboards
If Wenger has no say on prices, he should've just shut up when fans were complaining about it. Instead he went on and defended the club price hike. Also, like you mentioned, he is really stubborn with players he likes even if the preform badly every week or are unavailable like Diaby. this guy refused to sig a proved DM cause he belived one day Diaby will be fully fit even though all docs knew that won't happen. He went on and spent more on Xhaxa then we did on Conte. He used salary as his bs excuse but its not like Chelsea are paying Kante a inflated salary. He constantly has lowballed players who also wanted to join, Ronaldo, Zlatan, Lacazette, etc etcI agree for the most part, as far as slowing down on praising wenger over the recent years but i doubt he has much say in ticket prices as im sure thats more an incentive to the board than it is him. And i somewhat agree with your modern price for players sentiment, however its not like he only goes for subpar players or does not want to sign world class talent. it was publicly known that he wanted morata, during that time in the summer he was highly sought after by many clubs and even by you guys chelsea were ready to pay the fee, many reports mentioned arsenal offered 60 million for a 23 year old, i mean is that not a fair offer for a yet to be unproven player? but madrid didnt want to sell, so what can he do from there? nothing. Also publicly known that he was after Benzema but benz dosnt want to leave madrid so again, what can wenger do about that? why is it chalked up as he's not trying to sign top talent when the player themselves want to stay put. He also went for higuain, reports suggested the offer was in the realm of 50 million pounds PLUS a striker in giroud for a aging striker. Dont get me wrong, gonzalo is still class but you saw everyone in the world except Juve scoff at the 90 million pound asking price for a aging striker. i just dont think gonzalo would of been the player that would surely fire us into serious contention for the league and europe at that price. Wenger has been keen to sign talent but some situations have presented impossible for the club to acquire that are out of wenger and clubs hands. Now on the flipside, there are the lacazette situations where its just puzzling to why he wouldnt pony up the bread for him but what ive learned about wenger is that, yes he wont over pay but thats because he bases it off the personal value he has of the player, its his own belief in what potential the player could have or at times it can be as simple as getting the best deal for the club, you could say he's always trying to look out for the football club BUT with what has been happening in the recent seasons, with a price like that and especially how young laca still is, wenger goofed at not taking that risk. With that being said, ive grown frustrated with his beliefs because he can be TOO stubborn and putting to much belief in other players that just wont be good enough. The man has just become too stubborn for the modern climate. The man definitely still has an eye for talent and still attracts and is willing to spend on quality players, look at alexis sanchez, is 45 million not a lot of money? the guy is arguably world class now and its being sought after by the elite clubs in the world, that wasnt the case when he was on the market, we were one of the few who showed interest and paid the fee. same with ozil, we paid 40 million for a midfielder, and thats what everyone else is paying now. The man has just lost whatever balance he has had before. Regardless ill always appreciate and praise him because of how he changed the club and launched them into a world wide known club. He is the reason Arsenal have progressed majorly in world football and he is also the reason we have been stagnant these recent years.
Oh boy. It's Lit in NapoliDRIZZY MERTENS.
