Didn't look intentional to me when I first saw it but then I saw it many times again and I'd have to say that it didn't look intentional.

I kinda feel you then, I could see it being accidental if it was an isolated incident but dudes were going at each other all match long and Ibra even took him down earlier in the match so I kinda feel like Mings had an idea of who was on the ground when he was trying to get passed. I don't think he meant to curb stomp or anything like that but just a little nudge on the head to show he wasn't gonna get punked by Ibra
The whole match was a mess though,ref lost control of it really early on and it became sloppy and messy as hell

sorry but as a player it isn't that hard to not jump on some one. And if you watch the replay...he glances at zlatan right before he jumps rooney....looked intentional to me and Zlatan is lucky it wasn't really really bad

Nevermind the fact that they can crush the skull, perhaps even more serious is the fact that he has the studs virtually touching the jugular. This is what those things did to Rooney, straight cut into the meat:

We'll never know if it was truly intentional or not, but I have a hard time believing a professional athlete "accidentally" steps in that exact spot after looking right down on it. Bans for both seems fair, though I'd have to say cleats to the face is a far more punishable offense than an elbow.
