Kawhi has a degenerative condition in his right quad meaning it's not going to get better. I didn't believe for a second when he and the clippers were acting like he would play every game. They were just blowing smoke up everybody's *** so they wouldn't kill the vibe after the big summer they had. When he had that interview in the playoffs talking about how he wouldn't even be able to play if it wasn't for load management I realized how serious it was. What's interesting is that the spurs diagnosed him correctly and him and his people didn't want to accept it which led to all the drama. Anyway it makes more sense for him to play against a western conference opponent even tho we all want to see him vs Milwaukee
