I just picked up a pair of 993’s myself. New Balance got my feet feeling good.
nothing better than going to work in some 993’s then slipping on some stilettos then going back to 993’s for the train ride home

Brah when I moved to the states that was the first piece of footwear Maryland dudes told me to cop.
The grey 992s had the streets going brazy back in the day. I remember before the Sports Authority in Greenbelt, MD closed, the store only had two employees working, a manager and cashier. They were sending them no new Nikes but were still sending them New Balances, stock from the store was being moved elsewhere so it was mostly empty otherwise.
A goon went up in there looking to buy a pair, got into it with manager, and knocked the manager clean out. When everyone in the store peeped what happen, everyone just went straight for the 992s. Just grabbed them, and bounced. People that were in other stores heard what happen and came through to pick the store clean. Dozens of pairs gone in minutes.
-Grey New Balances, Black Foam Pros, and Black Nike Boots, the DMV and B.More holy trinity of footwear back in the day.
