Is there a blog or podcast that came up with this no charge talk? Why do yall keep saying this? Sounds silly to me
It's a regularly talked about thing. There was a presentation about it at the Sloan conference last year too.

It's not a parroted opinion if that's what you're getting at. You read about things and form your own opinions. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who love the charge and never want to see it go. Thats just not me. There are a ton of proposed changes to basketball that I don't agree with or think should happen. That "one free throw rule" isn't going to happen and I don't think the Elam Ending will make it to the NBA.

But the whole premise of people just stepping in to draw charges is ridiculous. You're forcing contact in a dangerous way. Not rolling.

Unfortunately this is probably what it needed to take in order to have a real conversation about it.

I said this back when the flopping calls and fines were en vogue too. The root of that problem was the charging foul on the first place. The charging foul encourages flopping to a degree and incentivizes a guy throwing himself to the ground.

Should offensive fouls be removed from the game? Absolutely not. Should the idea of drawing a charge in that manner be removed because not only is it dangerous it has a large window of opportunity for gaming the system? I think so.

I know you said it's been talked about before but I think it's an overreaction to say one freak accident out of a million charges merits a rule change. Sports are dangerous period, the only way to eliminate injuries is to sit on the sideline. Defense by definition is staying between your man and the hoop. Vast majority of charges are legit. If you slide under a guy that left his feet that's supposed to be a block like it was on said play with curry, it's already illegal. Getting rid of charges would make the game softer than it already is and guys would have free reign to the hoop

I ain’t even gonna say nothing about curry. my curry hate squad will do it for me. I been born in curry hate. been bathed in curry hate. curry hate is all I know.

i’ve done my piece and now the truth comes out and all the facts are being exposed.

we knew what he was. lightskin jason kapono just can’t lead teams to the promise land by himself. we been knew this.

Lost in all of this Embiid’s next 4 games are against Whiteside, Baynes, Gobert and Jokic. I hope he’s not suspended for all those cause there’s gonna be a lot more **** talking in those

I still don't know why you are praying for a man that broke his hand but whatever

I am sure folks will find a way to cut-up Mrs. Curry's response/reaction, so that will be fun(ny).

I'm not laughing at what happened to Steph. However I do find the post funny because Kerr is really out there using a magic 8 ball to make his coaching decisions. His true coaching ability will show now, without 3 HOF players.
