For some reason I see some of the players that opted in are going to start backing out.

I wouldn't blame them. As that baseball player said, sports happen when you have a functioning society. We literally have people refusing to wear masks and coughing on people that ask them to wear them, a president that thinks ignoring the problem will make it go away, people going to clubs and bars like it's no big deal, and asymptomatic people everywhere. Does anyone think that a person can stay locked in a bubble for months at a time and still be productive?

I don't know bro. I don't think their ceilings are much different. Simons just has that shine that young players have but I don't think he'll be much more than an above average 6th man at best.

I understand your point but as I’ve maintained, they are adults and can make choices. If they have the capacity to make a decision about whether to play or not during a global pandemic of the likes we haven’t seen in a century, I have to trust their decision-making about eating Skittles or chocolate.

The players being adults and being able to make their own decisions isn't THE point Jr was making.

But it makes no sense for the league/teams to provide their players with that nonsense.
