im gonna need JD617 JD617 to help me with this one. About 10 years ago, when NT infiltrated Summer League,C Webb was doing summer league games. NT loved him. I said he was dog****. Everybody talked **** to me like they do when I say Hubie is awful. i need to see a list of these people so I can shame them for being the reason Webber is on TNT now.

Idk if NT search goes back that far. This is the oldest I can find. NT liked Webber at this point.

He's an elite passer, and generally that = Point Guard in most minds.

Ask any Sixer fan or anybody that’s played point guard at even a high school level and has watched a decent amount of his games....he’s not even an elite passer. His court vision isn’t even that great. He’s a good passer for his size though and he might honestly be the fastest player in the league from end to end so that helps him big time on fast breaks. But Brett Brown needs to stop letting him run our sets on offense. His fundamentals are terrible and break down every time to the point he’s worthless on that side of the floor in a halfcourt setting every single time against good teams.

I’m not going to lie - I liked C Webb as announcer when he first started doing games. I appreciated that he seemed genuinely excited about what he was doing and talked like a real fan of the game. But that was a long time ago...

I used to love JVG but his complaining has been wearing on me lately. I don't need it to go on for an entire quarter while ignoring everything happening on the floor. He's been on his Barkley/Shaq "back in my day" stuff too often lately.

I just realized I'm part of the national TV problem. I don't watch enough games to remember what ppl dislike about Webber's commentary

Jordan would never...

Jordan also would never...

Agreed, he's a good passer and uses his speed and size to his advantage. I don't think I've ever seen him run a play or even run a pick n roll.

I still think he has the potential to run plays through the post, but everyone is dead set on making him a point guard that it limits his potential in a half court set.

And yes, his fundamentals are as refined as his jump shot.

I think it's the classic case of people liking the idea of having a taller point guard (6'5+) but rarely has it ever worked in the NBA.

LOL you KNOW her browsing history prolly all BBC related

why she rocking lil mans like a fanny pack tho?

Yeah honestly even if everything else was EXACTLY the same about him if he just shot wide open shots then it would be fine.
Correct. He doesn't even have to be relatively good at it. Just take them.

Do that, and you have one of the best players in the league.

Don't do it, and you have nights like last night where good defenses can make it a point to take you out of the game.
