I wouldn't be against Jeff Van Gundy, just keep Mark Jackson in the booth. As if New York wasn't enough, we don't need the stories that will sprout out of Mark Jackson coaching in New York with all he fodder the media already has.

I don't think we should even make any other coaching changes. Fiz needed to go, but the coaching wasn't the crux of the problem. The problem is the front office, then the owner who's never going to change. It is what it is. Adding some more names isn't going to do anything but slow the team down even more. Now isn't the time to sign a coach we want to last here longterm...but who cares it's what the Knicks do every two years. Fire a coach, then hire a new coach based mostly on their social connections in basketball and completely disregard the team and Xs and Os.

The next coach hired is absolutely and utterly irrelevant to the Knicks’ future, the only thing that matters is the management.

regarding ratings: I think it’s pretty simple. The Warriors are gone. Some people love to complain about parity, but it’s pretty clear at this point that casual fans love dynasties. The Warriors are the most popular team with casual fans I can ever remember experiencing (Heat were second).

Majority of fans want to tune in to see the best, they don’t really care about parity.

Chess move: wait it out for other lucrative offers. Rockets drops MDA after another mid playoff exit. Fitz comes in for the next season.

Fizdale had no shot at Milwaukee unless Bud passed on us. Bud was our number 1 from the beginning.

Silver needs to encourage Dolan to sale. The incompetence starts with him. Somehow, Steve Mills has been able to keep his job throughout the years, which is a major issue here.
I think the ESPN podcast whispered Jeff Bezos last week. It would have to be such a gross overpay that the MSG group would have to overrule Dolan and sell the team.

Yikes. I always toyed with the idea Jeff B. Will bring back the Seattle supersonics.

Just watched the Cs/Pacers game from last night. Can't believe Hayward's nose wasn't broken on that play. Things seemed to go downhill for the Cs after that, especially with Jaylen fouling out with 2 min left.

The Tatum (on a bad shooting night)/Kanter/Wannamaker/Ojeleye/Javonte Green lineup at the beginning of the 4th was really bad too. Should've had one of Kemba/Brown/Hayward out there along with Tatum in that lineup.

Hate to see Shump go. Dude brought good defense the Nets needed. I have no idea what Wilson Chandler can do.

NBA ratings talk is funny. Just 2 or 3 seasons ago folks were talking the NBA being in a great place. Now they're talking instituting some sort gimmicky mid-season tournament lmaooooo

Simmons was saying that he heard whispers of him putting out feelers to sell earlier this year.

Yup. Brad left that lineup in waaaay to long and then called the timeout too late.
After Hayward went down, I knew it was a wrap.
