What's the alternative though?
Something needs to be done with Whiteside's expiring. Can't afford to have him hit free agency unrestricted where he could just bounce and they would lose that salary number. Same applies to Bazemore.
Love can play inside/out, is still an elite rebounder, and you can actually run offense through him with his passing, where you could have both Dame and CJ spotting up.
It's not a perfect fit given his age, but I really don't know what their other options are.
