I still don't like his production.
There's no reason to be excited about him working with the Weeknd, especially when he has guys he's been working with who Diplo doesn't even belong in the same sentence with.

If it makes you feel better, 99% of the time, Abel's team co-produces whatever he's working on. Considering Doc and Abel have been in the studio for a minute, you better believe either him or Illangelo are heavily touching up everything.

Most of his popular songs recently are the ones with Bieber/MO like Where Are U Now/Lean On/Cold Water.
Those are all derivitive tropical house sounding EDM garbage and considering those are all his big songs recently why would I think it would sound differently?
