Went to KOTF @ Barclays too and yea, the tix weren't an instant sell-out.

I wonder if those Amex gift cards well work with those presale offerings.....? 8o. Like a fool, I still tried to get through with the presale last year using my Visa and MasterCard.

KOTF lasted a while if I remember right - it was in the Barclays. The venues are going to be huge this time. Doubt it'll all sellout in an hour. Getting good seats'll be harder though.
Yeah depends on the venue. I believe the venue that sold out quick was in Santa Ana at the Observatory, I can't remember if that was one of his first tours. It was a tiny venue. Other shows I've seen him at like the Hollywood Bowl or Greek Theater (?) didn't sell out that quickly if I recall but who knows

I don't man everything he's done in the Bay dating all the way back to the Kiss land tour has sold out same day and those were all 10,000 seat venues.

Unless he's gonna do Levis or the Coliseum, those tikckets are gonna go instantly.

Man this isn't coming at an ideal time for me. I may be moving to Seattle on October 1st, but it's not a definite. I wouldn't know what city to look for tickets in.

Cop in multiple cities and resell, the tickets will more than pay for themselves. :lol

One of the safest investments you can make. :lol

Yeah I'm not surprised at all at that. With how he's gone mainstream you can expect tickets to go that much quicker

the fonda was the first venue he ever hit here in LA. this was pre trilogy and when he was still relatively unknown. the show was in may of 2012

the observatory was after trilogy released, cause he performed enemy. show was in november/december of 2012
both shows sold out within minutes

the greek show (for kissland) eventually sold out but tickets could be had within hours of going on sale.
hollywood bowl ( kotf )  took a while but it did sell  out on ticketmaster but tickets could be found on 3rd party sites.

Saw him at his second show ever. Guelph Ontario. Small venue. Low key. He says it was his first time out of the GTA. I remember half the crowd left the venue and I remember sticking around to see him drop 3 more songs as he was spinning like he probably just railed 3 lines.

I saw him in London a few weeks after, same sort of show but it was outside in a tent party. If I remember correctly it was right in between when he dropped Thursday and echoes of silence. The show was so got damn raw, his vocals were pretty rough too.

It was a while ago but I can still remember him encoring with glass table girls with a bottle of henny in hand and guys from his crew pulling girls out the crowd to backstage the entire show :lol

I was cool with his music at the time but it wasn't until I heard pretty much all of house of balloons and Thursday live that I realized how great dude was.

I had "Girls born in the 90's" on repeat for majority of the day yesterday.

It immediately shot up into my top 10 fave Abel records. Official release or not.
