No one imo.

Saint Jhn is someone with his own sound that is definitely worth checking out. Singing and some rapping with great production. He has two really good albums (Collection One and Ghetto Lenny's Love Songs).

Faith, After Hours, and Snowchild are up there for me but I haven't been able to place any of them above Escape From LA.

After Hours probably runner up for me.

That whole contingent is legendary though.

I like Too Late a lot too but wouldn't include it in the same group.

The rest of the album is just good music. Holds the album together coheisvely like glue but not top tier stuff imo.

Seeing as she was booked to go on tour with Weeknd, I would say Sabrina Claudio is worth a listen

Not so much for the “Weeknd sound”, but I’ve found her latest album ‘Truth Is’ to have a dark feel to it
