hell yeah.. i've actually rode by some of the places where they filmed.

By rode I'm assuming horses right?

What's some interesting things you've seen at those places?

Did you get to see them filming?

nah man.. in my car

i've driven through the intersection from the first scene of the series plenty of times.

and i think i know where the church is at too.. the one where they thought sophia was at.

i never got to see them filming though.. i wish i would have though.

So you didn't watch that scene and say WTF? The writers love making Lori look like a mess. She can't even drive around without getting into trouble.

Rick isn't turning into Shane. Shane was a psychopath who did what he wanted. Rick has to do the dirty business of the group and not take chances with people they don't know. I think all of them are developing a similar kind of attitude of don't take a chance.

If you people can't see that Rick is not only turning into what Shane was... he's becoming worst than Shane then I don't know what to tell you.

Like I said you have to think about strength in numbers and imagine you had a strong group of men.

Forget it you'd take over whoever and whatever and rape, pillage and all the things that the Kings of the four corners of the earth did since the beginning of time.

Imagine a group with Rick, Shane, Darryl, Michone, Adrea, Maggie, Glenn, Dale (mechanic is his strength), and Carl--- along with Merle, those prisoners, those guys from the bar :x

Game over Lori would become the new gangbang queen replacing Sandra Romain, Katja, Annete Swartz, Audrey Hollander, Luscious Lopez

Dudes would be over throwing the zombies and any weak groups that come in their way.

That Sunday's episode was good, but I was when I noticed the dude from 'From G's To Gents'. And pregnant or not, I'm still waiting on Lori to be ravaged by a bus fully of zombies.

Well I Know They're All Infected, But I Was More Talking About What Triggers The Infection. I Didn't Think That A Simple Scratch Would Cause Him To Fully Turn? That's What Really Confused Me About This Episode. Herschel Lived Through A Full On Bite, Even Though They Chopped His Leg Off, But Big Tiny Had To Die Immediately After He Got Scratched.

Shane did what he thought was the right choice so he could get the supplies to save Carl.

Had Shane been given the opportunity to do as he wished maybe he would have become more calculated since he'd have more experience.

I'm pretty sure it's Georgia. I remember the prisoner who rick bodied referenced Georgia.

There's no science to it referencing zombies but take this example, walkers are already carrying the infection in it's final form, living ppl have a dormant form of it. When a walker is in contact with a living person's bodily fluids in any way the complete infection spreads in to the living person killing them and activating the dormant infection and it spreads at a certain rate depending on the degree and severity of contact, which will cause the person to die and become a walker.

With all that said, Herschel got bit and the complete infection was going to spread, kill and turn him but Rick stopped it by cutting it off immediately before it spread to his entire body (I'd assume the goal is to spread to the brain). Tiny unfortunately got it on his back. There's nothing that could be done as far as cutting out the completely infected area. There'd be no assurance even if Rick used the machete to cut out a pound of flesh from Tiny's back from where he was scratched.

There are just some impractical and unfortunate places on your body to deal with if you're bit or scratched by a walker. Limbs are much easier to deal with than the main part of the body. They covered this with that guy that got bit/scratched and was turning slowly in season one I think. They tied him to a tree or something and then I think Rick came back to kill him (I may be confusing things with the comic though).

Whether you're scratched or bitten, it triggers the infection in the form of a severe fever, causing you to die and come back as a walker. That's why Lori was always checking Herschel's forehead...for a fever. Cause that's pretty much the giveaway that you're gonna turn. Also what master zik said about preventing it from spreading to the brain.

Also they are indeed in Georgia. I don't think they mention at all what city/town they're in specifically, but they are definitely in Georgia. Daryl tells the prisoners that they've been pardoned by the state of Georgia and that they are free when they try to come into the cell block.

Nah, like someone said they're still different people. I think saying he's turning into Shane is just something easy to say. Towards the end, people saw how much of a loose cannon Shane was and didn't trust him. I never liked his character. He was a shady, douchebag alpha. How is Rick becoming worse than Shane? If anything, he's sounding more of a dictator from the speech he made last season. So far he hasn't done anything yet that most of us wouldn't think about doing. Making allies with prisoners you don't even know wouldn't have been the best idea. Rick does what he always does, keep the group safe.

now rick mentions " this aint a democracy anymore." it implies, him thinking what it is best for the group just as shane did when he was leader of the group.
