The Walking Dead - Official Thread

Like I said before yall need to rewatch the ep and catch eye signals between the two guys where they were basically saying ok I'm about to get this dude Rick killed right now, be ready. Rick clearly saw them having eye contact and nodding towards each other. They were in it together.
:rollin

exactly, dude probably thought he was going to be next. i'd kill the dude with the long hair too, but all the other dudes seemed legit. especially the big dude who got scratched.

this is my thinking. The majority of the guys were just followers who just wanted help. But the main guy was the real issue. Once he was out of the way, the others would fall in line
Even after Rick killed the

There wasnt any point of risking the lives of his group though. Those dudes have been together for at least 10 months so you have to assume theyll have each others backs. Just didnt agree with Rick running so far in those halls to chase that one dude though, he could of easily ran into some trouble.

Why does every hate Lori?
I just really got into the show with the last episode.
cuz she tasted Rick's best friend Shane like 13 minutes after they thought Rick was dead..

cuz she probably got fertilized by shane

cuz she's an idiot

cuz she cant keep an eye on that little turd son of hers

cuz she crashed that car

cuz

i also would've sliced that long haired leader of the criminal pack dude's head off.. actually when they were prison riot shanking the zombies i would've locked them all in that room and let the zombies feast on them. cant have criminals in ur pack. dont know if they're in there for drug possession or rape/murder/etc

cuz she's a ....

cuz she wanted Darryl to be her yes man when he'd being risking his life trying to find sophia

cuz she wanted to hide the fact that she's pregnant as if that's even possible

cuz wanted shane to stay away from carl, then when he does, she wants him to get carl's friend

cuz
kinda messed up how rick fed the little fool to the zombies.
He ran in there though.
IMO the only prisoner that seemed useful to the group was that black guy.
there were 3 of them....
I mean of the remaining prisoners.

Either way his statement is correct. The biggest one was too dumb and too scared the other one was a snake that couldn't be trusted. That black guy was the only useful one but if he's gonna be around for a while he'll have to earn their trust. If that old dude isn't some rapist/pedophile or serial killer I expect him to be telling Carl old tales by camp fire while they're look outs for w/e Rick does next.

As for dude getting fed to those walkers. It's as simple as if he wasn't guilty he wouldn't have ran.

what city are they in right now and where are they heading as far as location?

herschel surving a bite, a chopped leg without any real medication? BAWSE

They're not heading anywhere really. Just looking for a place to stay where it's safe enough so eventually they can call it home. Dunno where they are though, somewhere still in the South I'd expect.

These first two episodes have been amazing! I can't stop watching the second episode.

Man, I can't believe the transformation that Rick has become. He is just ruthless now but I can understand why. He was always the leader but he always had someone telling him in his ear that he was a horrible leader and to do something. He's trying to keep this group alive! I think he's doing more than enough. Now, you can see that he is focused at the task at hand and to quote the famous Beans line from State Property: "either you get down or lay down".

Yes, Lori is useless but at least she knows where she stands with Rick. She's just getting put in her place and I like that. She deserves to get the silent treatment, she deserves to see Rick looking at her everyday in disgust. I think it makes her a good character because she is fighting her own demons inside and fighting what is out there as well. There's a conflict between the two of course and you can see it in Rick's eyes. Two great examples is when they were back at their cell block, Lori tells Rick that she's not "mother of the year" and "to kill with a clear conscience". Did anybody see Rick's facial expressions? He was baffled at what he heard! You could kind of see that he wanted to show affection but he hates her. At the end, when Lori goes outside for fresh air, he says "We" not "I" about her giving CPR to Herschel. He can't think about her anymore but he thinks about the whole group with her being part of the group.

I really am so proud of my boy Glenn. He is getting some candied yams during a zombie apocalypse. Plus, his girl is bad-*** for being the one to go for the neck for the prison guard walkers. I don't want Maggie or Glenn to die because I like the relationship they have going on for them. I want to see them grow.

Carl is a little too cocky. Then again, he is the sheriff's kid and he is watching first-hand his father becoming a ruthless killer and dictator. You can't forget that everywhere he goes, there is a threat. He's still young but his mind is going to get distorted. I would like to see Carl very much alive because I feel he can be a great asset when he gets older. I mean he got medical supplies by himself but he needs to understand that he is human and that he can die at anytime.

Daryl. What can I say about him? He is also one of my favorite characters and I like that he is becoming Rick's right-hand man. The chemistry between the two is amazing and they make for a pretty good combo.

T-Dog: The third wheel and that makes me sad. T-Dog has a purpose in this group but I can see him dying. That just sucks because my dude has the full on riot shield ready. Plus, T-Dog is always the first line of defense! When they opened the gate, to go deeper inside the prison. Rick opened the gate and T-Dog was the first one to put a hole in the walker's head. When they went to the laundry room, it was T-Dog and I think Big Tiny first. Let T-Dog do his thing!

Carol is the weakest link of the group. I hope that something happens to her. At least she can give Daryl some. I don't think she does anything for the group. I'm glad she is taking initiative in dissecting the walker so she can operate on Herschel and/or Lori but other than that. There's not much to her.

I don't know what is going to happen on the next episode but I cannot wait! Every episode has put me on the edge of my seat. I really like that they have to kill multiple zombies now. Not just one or two or zombies scattered here and there. Everytime they open the door, I always think of Resident Evil and you don't know what lies ahead behind those doors. The best one was the laundry room one. Everybody was in a frenzy trying to slice each and every walker while also trying to avoid friendly fire. There was a scene where Daryl just helped Rick or something and you see Daryl bobbing and weaving trying to get a shot. I thought that was hilarious.

The prisoners:
Big Tiny looked like a good guy but he got bit. Sorry Big Tiny.

Tomas got what he deserved.

Poor Andrew, I tell you that. I would've just locked the laundry room door when he fled. I was screaming at my TV for Rick to run back and just lock the laundry room door. When Rick was chasing him, I thought a zombie would pop out of nowhere or something.

The white southerner and the surviving black guy were one in the same. I would've done the same thing like Rick if I was put into that situation. I would let the two prisoners fend for themselves. I would have no remorse. On that note, did anybody notice what Daryl and T-Dog said to the two prisoners. Daryl said don't go outside while T-Dog said to go outside and burn the bodies. LOL

I don't know what is going to happen in episode 3 but I'm already anticipating it.

did he even get scratched.

remember they put a lot of emphasis on showing how that zombie ripped it hand off through the handcuffs and i think it just touched him

it hand only one hand to scratch him with but i think that he didnt really get scratched and they might find that later i think that he only got rubbed against with that guys handless arm

the zombie ripped the handcuffs off exposing some sort of hook bone :lol and the the zombie hooked that bone in big tinys back...

I don't think that's what Darryl meant though.

From my understanding, Darryl said not to go outside if you don't want to see the even sicker stuff that's outside.

I'm still trying to figure out how the hell she crashed that car? There's miles of open frickin' road and she sees one zombie in the road and freaks out and flips the car over. :{

Date dere r-tard drivin' :lol

I can't blame Shane for smashing Lori though.

has anyone notice that rick is transforming into shane? shane was a do what you have to do to protect myself and the crew.

it's funny how rick didn't like shane method of survival but now he has to depend on it for the crew

:{ rick for killing shane that had kept the crew together for so long and when rick got there, all hell broke loose (yea i noe the change of actions makes the show...)

Rick isn't turning into Shane. Shane was a psychopath who did what he wanted. Rick has to do the dirty business of the group and not take chances with people they don't know. I think all of them are developing a similar kind of attitude of don't take a chance.
