What bothers you guys more, the theory of killing these characters or that no one outside that particular group really cares?
You can make this assesment for everyone, they all have flaws. That's if you always focus on the negatives.
Rick- Out of control, maniacal, dictator, needs anger management due to rage issues
Lorie- Cheated on her husband, tried to justify it by saying that she though he was dead. It had only been a couple of months
. Probably one of the most hated characters on tv.Carl - Doesn't listen to his parents, reckless/rebellious.
Carol - Stuck with her abusive husband, shown to be weak. Loses track of her daughter because she is scatter brained, failed to protect Sophia.
Glen- Reckless push over
Maggie- Flawless
Daryl- Outlaw, puppet to Merle, didn't build a backbone until he seperated from his abusive brother
Abraham- Alcoholic, ruined his family, cost his family their lives. Another character with anger management issues.

lori was cheating on rick since before he got shot

Whoever the dude was that made the Roshe comparison yesterday was spot on. A very simple solution is to just not watch the show if you think its racist. No reason for you to support something like that and waste your own time, and set yourself up to be angered. We're on what? Season 6? Plus a spin-off? If you don't like it at this point your opinion isn't going to change, and the show's not going to change either.

Yeah Michonne has been real ineffectual. Riiiiiiight. She's pretty much been Rick's right hand in Alexandria and only person that'll stand up to Rick when he bugs out. I.E.: delivering that swift KO.
Morgan saved the beloved Darryl and his BF Aaron. Ineffectual, all right.
And Carol did a 180? To what? A manipulative lady who can't empathize and is cold blooded. That's a good trait now? At least T-Dog showed some heart and selflessness by sacrificing himself.
Tyreese refused to kill if he could avoid it... And still went beast mode to get out of that little shack when there were walkers outside. He helped take care of Judith. How is that bad?
There are two ways to look at every situation. People just want to see the "negative" and be victimized all the damn time. Rick went from the leader to a lunatic to a farmer and back to the leader.
Shane went from strong to getting murked.
Every character has had their ups and downs. Stop making it sound like every white character has just been bad *** and every black character has been cheated of any semblance of usefulness.
Glenn was the man to being sick in prison and crying all the damn time and now not really being that useful in Alexandria. What's up with that?!? See I can do it, too.

Michonne was solely created to be a badass. On the show she's not presented as a sexual character at all or at least from what I saw. It's the same for the comics even when she started having sex with 3 characters I'm aware of.
The chick playing Sasha is cute. Definitely is fine when I see her on other shows
I don't think ppl not finding them attractive or objectifying them like they do Rosita and Maggie plays in to any racism.
If the show wants that hire some fine *** black women.

This would be a good point (ignoring Tyrese's horrible death in the comics) if the Tyrese on the show wasn't completely butchered and downgraded out of the fear of taking shine away from Daryl.
I really don't know what Kirkman was doing with the tv version of Tyrese. The whole storyline was trash. The comic one consequently comes out reading far superior the 2nd time around.

And even with all that you said about Michonne, she's still alive and goes ham on walkers and is the most potent killer. Like I said, you can't just look at everything from one point of view. Ok she gets sent out (along with others). Why? Because she's a great killer. Ok she couldn't get Andrea to leave. Why is that important? Screw Andrea. That goes to show how stupid she was for sticking around the governor. Ok Rick doesn't take her advice much. Yet she still speaks her mind. She's persistent and doesn't back down. Not bad traits. Expand your mind a little and look at things positively.

Some ppl may simply not find the chick playing Michonne attractive.

See this is where I feel you're just reaching.
There are black women that ppl mostly find sexy and there are those who are not. Most don't find Michonne sexy. On top of that the character isn't even written to have any romantic relationships. There's a reason for that if you know her back history but I'm not gonna spoil that.
If Crazy Eyes were playing Michonne would you really be wondering why ppl don't find her sexy?

It's probably going to take just as long as in the comic to find out Michonne's past that led up to how we see her in the introduction.
Her first two sexual relationships in the comics was just sex. For most men that's a dream come true. There was no romance. She was not presented as a sexual character then too because she was still so emotionally damaged but at the time we still didn't know that. She was a closed off, quiet, pretty ruthless badass. That's it. It's why she has a fan following in comics. Probably why she won't die on the show. To make a general comparison she's the comic's Wolverine (think less feral Wolverine though). On the show as far as fan support it seems Rick and Daryl share that comparison.
The 3rd one and most recent in the comics probably was more than that but Kirkman did a time skip and we didn't get to see any of that and when we land in the new present that relationship is over.
She's a more developed character but still not in any way a sexual character. Still a badass though.
I won't deny that without her character development she functions mostly as the badass that kills walkers and does dangerous **** but that's just how it was in the comics. Right now in the comics is probably her first real drama filled story arc and given Kirkman's repetitiveness it's ended pretty much the same way but this time around showed her opening up a bit more.
Now it's probably likely they botch Michonne's development. I wouldn't doubt that happening but with this particular character it's more of a slow burn to personal reveals. The way this zombie apocalypse has hit her makes her a less open, less inviting person which is why she has the attitude she has.
I say this to say while there's clearly an issue with race and the messages sent knowingly or unknowingly with this franchise it isn't applicable to every character of color on the show. There's mainstays and with Michonne and Glen they'll be constants for a while that'll basically stick to how they developed in the comics. The problem is every newly created character of color will not be handled with care and if a new character becomes a hit, a character from the comics that was gonna die anyway will be treated horribly.
This I assume will be even more apparent with Fear since it's entirely new and not based on anything. So you'll be able to see these creators fall in to bad habits, play towards their bias and/or be completely ignorant to how some of the stuff they're doing can be so offensive. This is with this franchise talking about it won't change anything as long as it keeps getting high ratings. Once it starts hurting their pockets they'll adjust but if they were racist to begin with them changing aint gonna change that.
